Just started looking through the lines for this week. It's odd how you can develop a feel for some of these teams and just look at line openings and know who the public is going to LOVE for that week. Doesn't take a genius to know that Pitt was going to be a popular play this week along with Indy, Atlanta, and New Orleans and it's certainly shaping up to be that way. After MNF I am sure you can throw Detroit in that mix. Can someone tell me why a lot of you are still getting stiffies over New Orleans? It's like anyone who picked them as Super Bowl contenders doesn't want to be wrong so they back them as a 3 FG favorite ON THE ROAD when they have lost both road games they have played this year while giving up over 440 ypg in the process. Ok... so Dallas doesn't have a good defense.... But did you think Cleveland had a good offense? And the fact that there is so much support this early for Atlanta is crazy to me. Their defense is terrible and their offense is old and banged up. Yea I know it's Teddy's first start, but this is a great spot for him - and their defense is coming off of a good showing in NO where everyone thought they were going to get their doors blown off. It's possible ATL and NO will come out and put on a great showing and dominate this week... but some of you wonder why things aren't going your way - but its YOU thats putting your money on road favorites with defenses that give have given up a combined 1350+ yards through 3 road games.
WEEK 4 LEANS
Titans +7.5, Cowboys +3, Buffalo +3.5, Vikings +3

agree with your picks but to compare the Browns defense to the Cowboys defense? don't agree with that at all. probably also playing Cowboys though because saints on the road are very vulnerable and Cowboys offense (as long as romo plays) will put up points on this saints defense.

Like your play for tonight but some of those other picks are a bit crazy, I know the best team don't always win in the NFL but fading joe public every game doesn't always win either...

If that's what you think ok... I put a lot of time into this. It's not just looking at numbers and fading joe public. I put out that statement at the beginning of the week

"Ok... so Dallas doesn't have a good defense.... But did you think Cleveland had a good offense?"
Here you are saying Dallas has a bad defense and then sarcastically asking if we think cleveland has a good defense which implies that you also think cleveland has a bad defense. So yes, you did compare the two defenses and came to the conclusion that both are bad. Get off your high horse once in awhile, probably only read that part of what i wrote and ignored the rest.

I'm with you on Vikings and Cowboys, but Titans and Bills too close to for me to get in on them. Feeling fantastic with the Bears at +1.5 now also.
I'm a big Bears fan and try to stay away from sides in their games as much as possible... I'll probably lay off but lots of tickets are coming in on GB and if the line gets to 3 it will be tough for me to stay away. Otherwise it's a no play for me but hard to not like the Bears at home getting points

Lean would be toward New England for tonight... Still going over some things. Should have an update and/or a play in a few hours. won't be forcing anything.
