Week 5 lines

I jumped on Ravens -3 (bought half a point) with Trubisky getting the start for the Stillers.

Niners -3.5 (buying half a point to get down to 3) and over 45 are interesting.

What lines do you like?

I jumped on Dallas +3.5.  San Francisco has looked good, but this is their first real test after a soft schedule to start the season.

Atlanta -2, Jags +5.5, Carolina +8.5

I can see the value in a +3.5 line, but couldn’t one also argue that the Cowboys have not had a first real test after a soft schedule to start their season? 
The other three picks are interesting. Carolina against a Lions team that rarely covers as a fave, Jags getting over a key number to 5.5, and Atlanta against a unusual Texans team.

I guess I’m worried about Jags crapping the bed in Buffalo like they did last week against the Texans. Also worried about ATL not being able to score against a unusual Texans team

Jets getting a field goal with a much better defense seems like a smart play.

Colts bounce back.

ATL’s inability to score scared me off that over.

They are going to run all over this bad Texans defence. Texans are at high point now, alot of hype good time to sell

Packers -1.5

Good bounce back spot with extra rest before the bye week they will play very hard

The last time Trubisky played against the Ravens he threw 3 interceptions. He is very ineffective and most of the time pathetic. I'd say that Ravens -3 or -3.5 is a good bet.

Pit/balt under 40.0...love unders in divisional matchups...pitt O is a mess

No/ne under 40.0....2 good D. Saints barely ever give up more than 20 points of late

Kc/min over 52.5...prefer 52.incase of 28-24 game...should be high scoring affair

Also like phi/la over 47.0 and chi/wash over 45.0...but don't like em as much as others above

Have a potential big play on a prop depending on the line released

Agree, LV/GB total looked high to me too. Could see that being a 20-14 kind of game

Cards and Rams are two hungry dogs both AT HOME facing teams that are vulnerable for a letdown, and I have those matchups rated DEAD EVEN!  Assuming my assessment is accurate (or even very close) conventional wisdom is to take the likely value on HOME DOGS everytime.

Trubisky could surprise here. That's my worry.  If Gardiner Minshew can surprise possibly so can Trubisky 

I do like the idea of buying off -3.5 in Frisco

Looks like Pickett will start. Still like the Ravens to run the ball down the Steelers' throats.
