Any team in the NFL is a tad "iffy" to bet on ats, including the Broncos. I like the under. I'm betting this game on head to head matchup. Remember how piss poor NE ' S offensive line was 3 weeks ago? In case you forgot, we're going to be reminded this week. Brady will be scrambling just like Manning was last week. This lines a joke.
You have that right my friend. NFL compared to college is waaaaayyyyyyy for difficult to turn profit

So you're ready to back NO again? No Graham? Will Ingram be back?
Do you think the Vikings are done after their coach imploded last week, saying he will fine his players for insubordination? Guys late to meetings. Guys joking around during the game.
Are you not worried about all the injuries to the Niners?
For phucks sake why not ask his opinion on Global warming and abortion while you're at it?

I do agree on your point which is the reason I was surprised that Buffalo was not able to dominate NE's O-line. They did get 2 sacks but protected Brady's more than enough to allow him to carve up the secondary. I think NE getting 5 sacks on the Bills was key for their win. Both D's were stout against the run. I see that happening again. N.E. & Jets will try to run but with little success.

Good luck amd, I might have the exact same 5 picks in the supercontest this week but looking over a few other things. I can see Jacksonville winning outright this week.

Jets r a frustrating team to bet on or against. 10 points is alot imo, turnovers, run d and pass d is bad right now. Jets only advantage is rushing Tom. They did it to peyton last week. Im on the fence on this one. Looking at the total perhaps. Bol Amd

Love the Bills play as they have a chance to take out their anger on a weak Vikings team after getting handled by the pats. Home game they will help the fans forget what happened last week when they win convincingly.
Saints are terrible on the road have no defense or running game. Everything rides on Brees and when you go up against the Lions #1 pass rush in the league that's a recipe for disaster.
I strongly disagree with you regarding the Saints game. This game involves so much more than Drew Brees against the Lions defense. That's not to say that I don't like the Lions defense. If you read my week 1 thread when I posted why I liked the Lions to mop the Giants, it was because I already knew they're defense was going to be one of the best in the league. Break down the whole game and stop locking yourself in to just one phase of the game.

I don't think i'm locking myself into 1 phase of the game. It's just that this year the Saints have been, relying to much on their passing game to win games. They do not have the strong run game to compliment the pass game. They are too one dimensional for having a soft defense.
Now throw in the fact that they are facing,a team with a strong D front and excell at pressuring the qb you need to have a balanced offense to offset. They dont have Sproles to,check, down,to like they did in,the past who can be dangerous in space. Also,no,Graham this game.
Also,we all know how bad the Saints are out if their dome. One of my rules is to,not bet this team,on the road i,learned my , lesson a long time ago.
It is not one phase of the game i just dont think it is a good matchup for the Saints. I'm not saying its a Detroit lock it's actually a no play for me. I just dont have a whole lot of confidence in tbe saints right now to,get it,done. So many better pla y s on the board this week IMO.
Regardless best of luc k on your play man.

I appreciate your post as always. We just happen to have a different perspective on the game. I think it will be easier for Drew to find openings in the middle of Detroits defense than it will for Detroits offensive line to, all of a sudden, fix itself. Have you followed Detroits offensive stats through the first 6 weeks? Their problems are a combination of fundamental breakdowns as well as personnel issues related to a lack of depth. Converting only 2 of their last 24 3rd downs is a serious fukking problem. They won't continue to win games with their current offensive woes. Detroit will lose this week.

Hey AMD - would love your insights on the JETS/PATS game tonight? I'm leaning Jets, but wondering what your overall thoughts are on why you are sold on them?

both places I bet have been holding at 9.5 -110. Do you suggest going with the 9.5? buying it up to 10? or waiting and it should get to 10?
Personally, I don't expect the line to climb to 10 again. However, at 9.5, you're in a position where you can be patient and follow the line until kickoff. I think 10 is way over inflated so I wouldn't be willing to buy it back to 10 but if it gives you a sense of self confidence to buy the bet at a solid number such as 10 then so be it.

My overall thought regarding tonight is that I don't think Geno Smith will win or lose this game. The Jets have a solid rushing attack against a less than average front 7 against the run. The Patriots offensive line will struggle to protect Brady against the Jets defense front and the Patriots rushing attack will be non existent. With this said, do I think the Jets win? It's certainly possible. The oddsmakers have set this line as if the Patriots were playing a team like the Jags tonight. The Jets are a good football team. Geno Smith just happens to play QB for this good football team. However, with the matchups that I've looked at in all other phases of tonight's game, I Think +10 is a gift. Wilkerson and company will collapse the pocket and get to Brady. Manning and Brady have the quickest release in football and the Jets were still able to get to Manning last week. I expect the same outcome tonight. The ball will be much heavier and slower in this type of weather tonight and the Jets don't have to double team any receiver. They can play man coverage and load the front.
