what am i missing??

Question

Why is everyone on Seattle? So far the only reasoning behind seattle is they have a loud stadium(so was the giants game), Dallas is due for a letdown(its been 10 days they will be prepared) andthe line looks fishy(so did the patriots line). But seriously why is everyone on them Dallas is clearly the better team in every category IMO, and this is not just because im a cowboys fan. I really dont see how they are going to move the ball. Lynch is good but dallas always makes it tough for running back see giants per example. THey have no weapons in the receiver position, no Braylon "stone hands" Edwards isnt a weapon if he was he would have stayed with browns, niner, or jets. and the line has looked suspect and okung is playing injured. I could be completely missing something but i just dont see how this game wont be a 31-10 31-14 type game

Dallas as a better pass rush, but Seattle has a better secondary. Romo is known to throw picks. For this game Seattles o line is slightly better. Dallas oline will jump early a couple times in a important 3rd down play.

I laugh at everyone who thinks Dallas has some high octane offense or some shit. They averaged 23.1 ppg last year. They scored 24 against a pretty weak secondary last Wednesday. Their offense is mediocre, even though it has big names on it. Seattle has an above average defense. Yeah on paper Dallas excites everybody but it's a much more even matchup than people are giving it. I can easily see Seattle winning outright just as I can see Dallas blowing them out. Coin flip game, thus I'll gladly take an additional 3 points.

Now, I hear a weak Giants secondary, but Wednesday I heard the Superbowl champion NYG secondary. What, a mediocre offense, Dallas was ranked 3rd in the NFL with 433 yards a game last year and DeMarco Murray didn’t even become a starter until WEEK 8!

Yeah, they scored 23 points a game, but it was 23 points a game against one of the toughest schedules in the league. They will probably score the same amount, maybe a few points more, because again, they have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL.

Seattle has a better secondary? WTF have you been smokin? The Cowboys offensive line gave up 50 sacks last season, but ZERO to the Seahawks WK 9 with one of the shitiest offensive lines in the league. Romo averaged 9 yards a pass, threw for 279 yards, zero picks, and had a 112.2 QBR against the Seahawks.

This season, Dallas is a thousand times better than they were last year. Rob Ryan’s re-vamped monster defense embarrassed the hell out of bitch boy Eli. I can’t wait to see what he does to this rookie. If Dallas were at full strength, this game would be easily a double-digit rout...

you aren&#x27;t missing anything. the Cowboys are becoming a well prepared team with Jason Garrett. They&#x27;ve had 10 days to prepare, so I don&#x27;t think a little noise is going to beat them. Maybe if the teams were evenly matched, the home team would have the edge. But dallas is clearly better in most areas. If Skelton was able to cover win by more than 3 vs the seahawks, i&#x27;m sure Romo and Co. can. Should win by 10&#x2B;

I actually had this game capped at a Pick with a final score of 23-23.

You have to factor in NYG having a depleted secondary (see Ogletree vs no Prince Amakumara), NYG offseason distractions as SB champs, and NYG being a weak home team.

Dallas is not an exceptionally better team than last season, but the public perception is much higher due to this victory.

I've wagered on Seattle in my thread, but if you are so suspicious I just wouldn't play it. No sense in forcing it just to have a position. It is more profitable to be skeptical and defensive than to force bets on perceived no brainers.

Seattle is one of the toughest places to play regardless, but I think Dallas pulls out a closer game then some think. Russell Wilson is still a rookie and Dallas is way better then Arizona and had time to prepare and rest.

I thought having 16 different players in the mix means a different team is on the field and also having 6 new coaches makes them different from last year?

Seattle always plays great against good teams & wins as the underdog, but loses as a favorite. Cowboys going out west after a big divisional win against the Giants. Seahawks coming off a loss & Pete Carroll doesn't want to go to 0-2. I would lean the under in this one, but definitely don't think Dallas is a lock. Romo is inconsistent.

Wednesday was the first time in 11 years I actually bet on Dallas. I bet the ML, spread, and a pleaser because I capped&#x2019;em and I saw for the first time in 17 years a legit contender.
