What's up with the line?

Starting to see + 1.5  I thought it might flip in this two week time frame.

Seem like 90 % of the  media and public is on KC hard to find 49ers support anywhere.

Watching the 49ers for the last month their very lucky to be here .people usually remember what they saw last.

It's clear the public's all over KC but  these gambling syndicates with the big money are on 49ers .

The syndicates sometimes try to manipulate the line to create a middle.

That didn't happen in this case it didn't flip.to KC -2  even if it flipped to 2 points that's a low probability for a middle.

The syndicates made the line the 49ers  -2.5  -2  -1.5  I think its their nature to be contrarians.

Was the sharp money the stupid money ?

The only line I watch is bookmakers, hasn't budged off the -2.  ML has bounced around but thats it

Both my books opened at SF -1. Climbed to -2.5. Now down to -1.5. Maybe even return to -1 or pk the way the movement is going. Wish I could tell you what that means other that want more SF to balance the KC money. 

Most of the good gamblers around thought the wrong team was favored yet the 49ers money was big and early and withstood these two weeks .  Everyone's on KC except for these gambling group syndicates just putting this out .

 Dont believe that. Plenty and Plenty of 49er support. More 49er fans in vegas than kc fans. They can say whatever but if you read all the predictions and picks its about 50/50. 

SF being favored makes zero sense. Long ago someone told me if a line makes no sense then bet the other way.

This line screams to take KC considering what we have seen (recently/recency bias) with our own eyes, so take SF for the win.

Everyone loves to talk about narratives when they are often times, contradictory. Chiefs whoop Miami and then win impressively at red hot buffalo. The following week they’re +3.5 against Baltimore. With your logic, that line was screaming Chiefs too. I’d argue the same situation in the Bills game. 

The only narrative is there is no narrative against Mahomes, he just wins.

San Fran has been favored in every game so not really surprised they are favored here.

Can question lotsa things about this game but the crazy lopsided ticket%/money% on KC is crazy. Every book reporting 65%+ on KC and many saying its 80+. Book manager quotes all the same "We're big Niners fans Sunday." I've asked 15 friends and family, 14 like KC. I guess everybodys gonna get rich today. Not tryin to throw out BS but it is funny ya got every novice in the world in Vegas for the Super Bowl and so heavy on Chiefs. I personally don't think it ends well and love San Fran here. We gon see.

 I don’t think anyone really knows where the money is.  I rely on Circa line and if Circa is moving the line from -1.5 to -2.5 and increasing moneyline to -145

this tells me San Fran is getting alot of money.   

I am on the Niners for very very big amounts.

Niners will win and cover no doubt about it ..swift lelcy mahomes will be fristated and whining the whole game ..niners win the toss march down the field of score, they stop Mahomes on his first drive to get the ball back, march down the field and score again they’re down 14 to nothing and they don’t look back   49ers roll ..

I know you can't just discount it like I'm trying to do, but there isnt anything besides those 6 whale like bets on SF ($100K+). I know - How do I know. Just look around. Ask around. People in general avoiding Niners like the plague. I mean just look at this forum. I sure as hell feels 70%+ on KC and numbers backing it up. I mean little ole Brock Purdy surely can't beat the goat in the playoffs, right? And as a 2 point fave? Shoooreeee.

Between Action Network & twitter handles for DK, FD, Mgm, Circa etc... That looks right. 70 handle 70 money is exactly where Ill guess it ends. 

I usually agree with this, but this could be Vegas trying to lure bettors into this way of thinking.
