Hello Fellow degenerates, Hope you had a wonderful Weekend (or planning on having a good Monday b4 ya meet da book). I had a good weekend, honestly, but I got moosed a couple of times starting with the freaking Under in the Miami / T A&M (with the unnecessary touchdown, loosing by a ton and with less than 10secs left in the game). Sunday comes around and I am studying my plays doing my regular Sunday morning rituals and routines, reading the posts, and watching TV... This is what my card looked like: *************************************** SUNDAY 9/23/07 (4-2-1) (+960) Parlay (1-1) (+135)
As you can see above starting with the Colts, I got Moosed by one point when they had been leading the whole way. Thats a 440 dollar swing. Then We have Minny, which thank God I pushed, but they were wining, Thats another $200. Buckaroos. Then Comes 4:00pm games and I picked Seattle -3.5 Got Moosed by the nail. (I swear that .5 has gotten me mor times than it has ever helped me.) Thats another $440 swing of my acount.(instead of adding 200 to my account, I lose -$220). As they said the best is saved for Last. As you can see I have had a good day so far and before the 8:00pm games I was up $595 and I was leaning on the Cowboys under and the Under in the St.Louis game. I was going to just play the Houston under for 3 Units, but instead I went with the Houston and U8.5 parlay. I was watching both games on my Picture in Picture TV. when all I needed was 3 outs in the bottom of the 9th. When the 'Stros didnt score in the ninth and only leading by 2 I was like "This could be trouble". When I saw Albert Pujols I comming Out of the dugout I just said "Its over" and Almost called that Walk off Homreun. LOL You've seen the highlights and know How I got moosed... Who else got moosed?
Anyhow I ended up with $+960 for the day but it could have been a NICE $2270 day, a difference of over a G. Oh well... Can't win all the time. Had a great 7-2-1 day going 1-1 at +135 on a Parlay.
Peace, Guys, and lets get this Monday night game...
