Where do all the posters go that post for a long time and then stop?

Yes they either go to other blog sites or some get in over their heads and go tout (pay for picks always a losing proposition) but if you stop look and listen on this site their are many good honest to goodness cappers right here on this site that are willing to help others with great write ups and anaylisis of the games being played during the week. I did like threads that were created by posters that have left such as the phixer and league capper and the one dude who had the Kevin James Avatar and a cat who had the Robert dinero casino avatar I think he was called betstowin. Oh well it's best to cap your own games anyways but again informative information that may have been overlooked by myself at least in my handicapping of games I have found to have been and can be obtained by many good posters right here on covers.

I sometimes am tempted to go on the most malware infected porn sites on my phone to see if I get as many pop ups and redirected to "free iphones" like I do on covers. A lot of great cappers have come and gone: Indie, Nuskool, Sing75, Suuma and many others. Guys like Wizz_Kidd35, LuckyGuy, RedTear2989, EastsideBangers and DavidN are all great cappers. Take advantage of their insights until they leave too

I might be one of the type of posters you are asking about.  When this whole internet thing started and we had Lous Hot Tub, I was here.  It was cool to interact with other sports gamblers - in real life we are isolated types lurking in shadows and keeping our sports betting to ourselves.  But the internet allowed us to interact with all types - and find out we are not alone....

Since that time, Covers has stayed in the year 2000, and many other platforms and ways of communicating have emerged and surpassed the Covers forum we have (which is largely the same as it was in 2008).  As many have stated, the mobile version is all but unusable.  The desktop version doesnt allow you to curse and half the time you type out a post it is wiped out.  Covers is just not up to speed with the rest of the internet.

But most of all, it is just not fun to post here.  There is no upside.  There used to be two types of posts here - 1.  Gambling theory and ideas  2.  picks.  They used to be about 50/50 in terms of volume.  Todays covers is nothing but picks.  Win, and you are a hero - until you lose - and then you get bashed endlessly.  What is the point?  Nobody cares about longterm results.  Nobody cares about new ideas, new ways to move money or arbitrage, odds discussions, or money management systems.  Only picks.  Only winning today.

So for me - this forum stopped being fun.  I post here less and less, down to a trickle.  I still stop by and read - looking for threads of interest - but the smart guys for the most part have left and moved on.  Where have they gone?  I don't know.  I havent "gone" anywhere.  I still do just about everything I have always done, I just don't do it here.

I don't post many picks on this forum. Just enjoy bullsh*tting with like minded people. There are some solid cappers on here I try too learn from, as well.
