Lately, no. The injuries have impacted their secondary and all it takes is a good passing QB to get chunks of yards and some scores on them. I have no doubt Carson Palmer will be in for a 300 yard, 2 TD type of game here, But how manny turnovers is the question? people seem to forget that this secondary unit can also make plays. They lead the league in forcing interceptions. The Panthers still have Harper and Norman in the backfield. Just a matter of Finnegan and the other CBs to step it up. Luke Keuchly can also step back in coverage if need be and take it to the house. He's had quite a few pick 6's already this season
Palmer has been sacked roughly 2 per game for the last 4 or 5 games, and has 4 interceptions the last 3 games. ESPN article says Cardinals play better on the road and protect the QB better. That might be true. the key for Carolina is to get pressure on Palmer and force him to throw bad passes. So i also hear Carson Palmer will let it fly and be more aggressive against Panthers defense after getting the playoff monkey off his back and going conservative against the Packers. We'll see how that plays out should be a fun game to watch.
