MNF looks tough to pick tonight. Instinct tells me Steelers roll over Skins but then part of me feels like the smartest pick is on the Rams to destroy Frisco. Since I'm not feeling very football smart today, and I already completed my picks in the super contest, what do you all think?. Any clear winner tonight ATS? Or is this a night to avoid altogether?

Rams under coach fisher have been somewhat unpredictable to say the least. They lose the games they should win (or are favored), and win the games they shouldn't (or are underdogs). Yet you know the rams will come up with incredible defensive games during the year. 49ers defense was really good at home last year. Even though the 49ers didn't win against top teams like Seattle, Green Bay, Arizona, Cincinnati etc. they played 'em real tough, and were in every game played at home last year. The highest points scored by any opposing team at San Fran was 24 by Cincinnati. Only one game went over at San Fran last year, and there was only one game where the 2 teams managed to score over 40 points (Balt). 49ers should have a much better offense this year with coach Kelly. I'm betting 49ers +3. They will probably win, but why give up the 3. It may go under too, but I like the +3 better, and am not willing to parlay the 2 on same ticket.

Going Washington to win. The Redskins will get it done through the air on the homefield. But the Steelers won't go without a fight. They're without Bryant which hurts but Coates or Heyward-Bey can fill the void. I think it will be a high scoring affair. I think the Redskins have enough weapons to pull it off but I'm taking the safer bet with the over 49 points. In the the SF-LA game. I like LA's D a bit better. Good front from Donald and the boys and their secondary is a bit better. SF has a couple of older dudes in the back tonight and I feel that the passing game will be a threat enough to keep SF guessing so Gurley can be utilized. So LA it is!

I dont like either side of the Rams Niners. Too many unknowns or not any solid edges to go with. I suggest skipping this MNF, but if you were going to make a play, I would suggest a light play on the Steelers.
