Having extensive knowledge of football and the QB POSITION--

The BLITZ was on sure, and you have to look at a HOT ROUTE, but you have to also be sure with the throw and not be pre determined where you will throw the ball--

ITS NOT WAYNES FAULT IF PORTER WAS SQUATTING AND READY TO JUMP THE ROUTE--
That is MANNINGs fault ---

Mannings responsibility is to look at the DBs and if not there go to the secondary receiver --

HOWEVER KNOWING MANNING, he is the TYPE OF QB that HATES TO GET HIT, THe saints knew this, they talked about hitting him hard--
SO I BELIEVE that MANNING RUSHED that throw to avoid taking a HELLACIOUS HIT--

Ex- THere is no way BIG BEN makes that throw, you have to look at the COVERAGE--

newsflash-- DBs do squat on ROUTES and do make INTERCEPTIONs and they do GAMBLE--

ANyone going to try to tell me that its WAYNES fault that PORTER WAS SQUATTING and jumping the route-

Who throws the ball?

In basketball in a late game situation on an inbound play if the coach says okay try to get the ball to KOBE here and he is covered very tight and the guy covering him is all over him, do you still throw the ball to KOBE?

Manning was SCARED plain and simple and that is why the PLAY looked like it was so FUCKED Up, oh they blame WAYNE ran the wrong route and didnt fight for the ball--
BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT--

Porter was squatting on the route, the QB has to check out and throw a deep route there, if the BLITZ IS ON he has to look somewhere else, but MANNING RUSHED THAT THROW-
There was no FREE BLITZER ready to hit him THERE, he just threw it as FAST AS HE COULD---

ITs a fact in a sport where the QB throws the BALL, it is his FAULT if he MAKES a late INT--

If MANNING throws a LATE INT its his FAULT plain and simple-
IF MANNING throws a LATE TD he GETS THE CREDIT--

THat is the way FOOOTBALL is played and the way it is PERCEIVED--

Manning was scared to get hit, those who followed him in Tennesse vs Florida gators, vs Nebraska in national championship, vs BELLICHEK in playoffs and vs the Chargers when manning was physically afraid of MERRIMAN because he was roided up and crazy-
Well yesterday add another one to Manning, he was scared of the HIT and made a quick throw that was INT'd--

You want the TRUTH, this is the TRUTH, of course the MEDIA will blame REGGIE WAYNE, he is easy to BLAME, he was dropping passes all game, he didnt run after PORTER, its not his FAULT- Media loves Manning so he can do no wrong anyway.

ITS ALL ON MANNING plain and simple-- HE was SCARED always has been in his carrer and still is--

Lol the Fact that STEVE YOUNG the EXPERT, oh my god the EXPERT, comes to defend PEYTON MANNING proves my point--

Experts will give you the most misleading advice on topics like this because of BIAS--
Wasnt everyone on the COLTS? ALL the experts picked the COLTS, john Clayton, Boomer, Sharpe, Burman, Dungy, Marino, Jaworski, Shlereth--

Experts mislead people that is what they DO--- Think about it, do you get the BEST advice from EXPERTS?  Do you honestly think that SO CALLED EXPERTS know more than WE DO???????

SO the fact that the EXPERTS JUMP ALL over REGGIE WAYNES back should give us further evidence that it was MANNINGs fault--

Bottom line experts mislead and they are doing it again by blaming wayne-

IMO its simple, WHO THREW THE PASS? ENough said?

This is 10000000000000% TRUTH, ESPN and all the media can go fuck themselves----

I can discredit the WHOLE MEDIA and ESPN, gay Colin HERD anyone with one statement about football--

For those who havent played QB and know about football i will give you the simplest explanation on why this is 100000% true----

As a QB you are not looking at your receivers , you are looking at the DEFENSE and the Db's and where they are standing--

Manning takes the SNAP, blitz is on, he knows where WAYNE is running to, but he is not looking at WAYNE..  MANNING's eyes and focus is on PORTER, he is looking at where PORTER is standing.

In this case PORTER did not BACK PEDAL once the snap was made, he DID NOT, HE CAME FORWARD and BEAT WAYNE TO THE BALL-----

MANNING once he saw PORTER was squatting and COMING FORWARD CANNOT MAKE THAT THROW, because a SLANT DOES NOT WORK WHEN PORTER IS SHOOTING IN--

Manning was not looking at PORTER and threw the ball to AVOID the HIT--
EITHER SCENARIO it was 100% his FAULT--

You cannot blame WAYNE for a QB jumping a ROUTE- You can blame MANNIG because its his responsibility to WATCH PORTER and not Waynes responsibility--

So people have to accept the TRUTH, I know the TRUTH,  because I KNOW FOOTBALL more than these EXPERTS who suck of MANNING all day long--

HEy He made a MISTAKE< he is HUMAN, but no the EXPERTS like to keep him as SUPERMANNING and blame WAYNE to keep Mannings  family name out of SHAME as he made a SHAMEFUL PLAY--

Last year game winning drive BIG BEN was under pressure, did he rush a throw, no he was looking the whole drive where the ZONA d was, he didnt just throw a past pass without LOOKING AT the DEFENSE-

READ MY LAST POST and try to give me LEGIT EVIDENCE and information that is FACTUAL and makes it WAYNES fault and not MANNINGS?

Read it , it makes perfect sense, but i can assure that you that 95% of people on this board dont even know that a QB is not looking at his receivers and is LOOKING at the DB's and where they are before they make a THROW--

95% of people dont even know that a QB in the NFL is not looking at his receivers and looks at the DBs and the defense where they are lined up--

MANNING missed the fact PORTER was squatting and SHOOTING in, plain and simple, He didnt have to make that throw, it was not 4th down--

He made an error, he is HUMAN, but think about it---

There is absiolutely NO FACTS that support this is waynes fault at all--
Its 100% on the QB when a Db jumps a SLANT because he has to be LOOKING AT THE DB--

The lack of basic football knowledge by some in here like Ice Blood is truly astonishing.

ALSO PEYTON MANNING should be KNOWN as a COWARD NOW-

Not for the reason he constantly blames the rest of the team and his defense when they dont win and hints that its not his fault---

MANNING IS A COWARD AND THIS IS WHY--

When free blitzers break through the O line and are coming near him, he JUST DIVES to the ground and FALLS down to avoid getting HIT---

does BIG BEN, Warner, FAVRE, BRees do that? Does anyone do that in the NFl?  SO why does he DO IT?

Plain and simple that is not a MAN, that is a COWARD, you are a PRO QB wimp, have some balls and take a HIT LIKE A MAN--

This is not touch football MANNING--

I hope everyone understands that this MAN is a coward---

His cowardly attitude cost them the superbowl, he didnt want to get HIT by the BLITZ and he threw the ball right to PORTER to avoid teh BIG HIT.
No other QB I have ever seen DIVES to the ground when a free blitzer comes in---

That is why I would take any other QB in the league in a big game than a COWARD.

Who agrees that you're a fucking idiot?

Brett Favre postseason record: 12-10

Brees 0-1 to Rex Grossmans Bears before this year

I remember when "Big Ben" lead the Steelers to his 1st Super Bowl win

9/21 123 yards 2 interceptions. Qb rating of 22.6

Luckily, there are 52 other players on most teams......

Sammy, I don't usually attack other posters but you are way out of line (IMO) on this.  We could get up a side bet on how far the Colt's go next year.  I think they will at least win the AFC. Let's just wait until next season, all this crap of you starting several different threads to condemn Peyton Manning are goofy.  If you feel you have to justify your opinion by condemning one man on and on forever you can certainly do it.  However, I won't be opening any of your threads for a while.  Good luck on your plays.

Lets see retard hmm  who the fuck were the favorites to win this year?

Was it the SAINTS???

Wake up buddy--

WHo were the faves for the superbowl?

Vegas doesent know shit retard, they know about making lines for the public, they dont know who will win you moron--

Wake up it is people like you who make bookies rich with their square attitudes--

WHy is it so hard to ADMIT that MANNING made a mistake and stop licking his balls--

When this box Manning drops to the ground he is called brillliant by the announcers for saving his body--

If vince Young drops to the ground they say wow he should have RAN there or done something---  he is looked at as a box---

This is not a REAL QB-- WHen i see PRO QB, I dont envision a GROWN MAN diving to the ground when a free blitzer is coming.

Sorry Hawkeye but I definitely agree with his Manning "box" argument. How many times was Peyton avoiding getting hit. Multiple. His passes were thrown off his back foot while backpeddling on numerous occasions. Lots of QUICK passes on short routes cause of the pressure. Peyton SUCKED last night and, furthermore, I don't see them going back to the SB with Manning again. He is VERY overated. I couldn't believe all this greatest QB ever bullshit we heard all last week.

Brady, Montana, Bradshaw, Elway, and even Aikman are all better QB's than Manning. And you know what they have in common, they ALL are TOUGH and could  take the punishment of being  a GREAT multiple SB winning LEADER.

This THREAD is DEAD on ACCURATE and applicable. Peyton Manning is a fricken wussy and he showed in on full display last night

Sorry Hawkeye but I definitely agree with his Manning "box" argument. How many times was Peyton avoiding getting hit. Multiple. His passes were thrown off his back foot while backpeddling on numerous occasions. Lots of QUICK passes on short routes cause of the pressure. Austin Collie ran a crossing route on that INT, & he was wide open past the 1st down marker. Manning threw that pick for Archie & the city of New Orleans. I guarantee you that.

A lot of valid points; Im still a little skewed being from new Orleans (I live in Texas today though) and loving Manning but being a "diehard Saints" fan. Ive watched the replay, time and time again, and it was so "un-Manninglike" yet Porter was also on that play like he was quoted as saying, "I knew that play from the get go." I dunno. Manning is definitely, positively soft though but dont confuse him being so soft as much as being smart.

I meant to conclude though, that the pass he threw was a definite "no-no" for a seasoned, MVP veteran in that situation. He needed to checkoff or throw deep. Just my .02 cents

Manning is a guy who is great at reading defenses. He has a good arm with amazing footwork..

Here is the lowdown Sammy style.

With the NFL now, it does not matter what Defense you play, what zone you play, with film study now a QB like MANNING will know what Defense you are in. with the special personnelle and the 3 and 4 receiver packages they can EXPLOIT any zone out there--

So basically its an offensive game and a QB that can spread the field and throw is a good QB for this NFL--

Manning is a kid who grew up studying the game and understood about football more than any other kids. He had a good arm and good mechanics. However he lacked the Natural instinct to make a play, he doesent have any Favre in him or Rothyberger in him to improvise-

Manning is so far ahead of the defenses but he is a GUY who is VERY SMART to play QB but doesent have the INTAGIBLES and the physical MENTALITY to win the big games--

Florida Gators owned mannings Tennesse volunteers, JEVON Kearse was all over him, and PEYTON had happy feet--

Manning is arguably a good QB, but his major drawback is that he is not TOUGH ENOUGH--

I can guarantee you he wins the superbowl if he comes out fired up, yelling and shows some toughness when taking a HIT and gets up like RIVERS and the rest of the team will respond--

KEY POINT- I think a good way to FIRE his team up in a SUPERBOWL imo would be to have PEYTON run a QB draw or a QB roll out and RUn to show the Saints what's up I am not SOFT and I am here to WIN also--

When you do that, The rest of the COLTS willl RESPOND and it will lead to victory--

I am merely pointing out that the LEGENDARY NFL QB's dont throw PICK 6's on game winning drives- Its not like it was a tipped pass at the line of scrimmage--
There was plenty of places to go with the ball, but when you are thining of getting HIT you will throw an INT-

Manning is Manning, a great QB, one of the best in REG SEASON history for sure, but in big games he is not the GUY to win it--

THe only way he WINS a big game is to sacrifice HIS BODY and show some emotion and stop BEING ALONE on the sidelines and a loner--

You guys wanna know the REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANNING AND BRADY--

You guys remember when BRADY was in the superbowl and his team would get scored on late in the game what he would do--

He did this in the Giants superbowl and i believe the superbowls vs Carolina also. BRADY is seen on the BENCH talking to every SINGLE OFFENSIVE LINEMAN and saying okay GUYS this is our TIME, lets score, he taps every player on the shoulder like a true leader--
I rememebr they were leading a game, and his offensivne lineman were joking aruond and he flipped out, he said WAKE UP the game is not over--

BRADY is legendary for that confidence----

Peyton on the other hand basically sits alone on the bench and does not talk to his O lineman at all.
When he entered the field last night in teh game on that last drive he was not AGGRESSIVE , he looked scared--

Hence the INT
