Case Keenum could've had the same record with this team and it wouldn't have cost them $84 mil

If I was a coach....I would take Kirk Cousins over Keenum…..at the end of the day theres nobody available for 2nd tier. When you have Mark Sanchez still playing in the NFL you cant blame Vikings for going with the BEST option available

Yeah but as a fan we had a guy take us to the NFC championship that could run a no huddle/hurry up offense well.  Have you seen Cousins try to run no huddle? - The play clock is less than 5 everytime he snaps in no huddle and he looks like hes moving in slo-mo when he's trying.  There's no urgency or quickness with him there.  Plus in the last 2 games he has had so many checkdown completions behind the line of scrimmage that result in little or negative yardage.

Cousins has completed 66.1 percent of his passes under pressure this season, according to ESPN Stats & Information. That would be the highest rate by any player in a season in the past decade.

Going into Week 14, Keenum was completing 52 percent of his passes outside of the pocket this season for 411 yards and has a 4-0 TD-INT ratio. In that same category, Cousins is completing more of his passes (68 percent) for fewer yards (333), but has thrown two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Carson Wentz is expected to be the highest paid qb in the nfl, and his team won't even make the playoffs and he's underperformed this year.

And people aren't showing up to games.

It has to be the tv contract.  Because where else are they getting their money.
