For many decades now in the UK we've really tried to get into american football. TV has played its part trying to stimulate interest. Myself and friends have read up, watched games and endless American sports programmes yet all of us have come to the conclusion its pretty boring. There seems more emphasis on commentators and 'has been's' talking the game up and dissecting it afterwards than actually time spent playing the game! Its all about razz-a-mataz than the actual sport? Here in the UK football and rugby are dominant, a continuous 90 minute-ish sporting attraction split in two halves without any interference or commercials. Do you think its a cultural thing?
