why is everyone on Gaints and Over?

UNDER is the smart play. even tho they don't have the same team as last year but the score was 20-17 . might be again tonight!!

The score may be under but the Bears will put up more than 20 points tonight.

These teams can't play defense well enough to possibly keep the score low enough.  The Giants and Bears are both going to air it out most likely.  Look at the previous scores this year for the teams.  The Giants are killing themselves with turnovers.  If they play competent football, this is probably over 20 points for each side at least.

Gino turned the ball over a few times before they played Atl...he didn't in that game and they ended up winning. I think if the Giants don't turn the ball over - they have a great chance of covering and putting up 24pts in this game.

TNF games aren't that high scoring but this one will be. Both teams need a win. Chicago has lost the last two games and want to keep pace with the Lions. The NFC North is still up for grabs and their is still discussion on who is the best team in that division. The Giants need to play well and try to get at least one win.  I think they can keep it semi close. That is why I won't take the Bears at -7.5. That might change is the line goes to -6.5, but I don't see that happening.  The Giants have put up at least 21 points in all their games except against Carolina.  The Bears defense is suspect.  Teams can move the ball against them.  Their defense is opportunistic and gets many turnovers. Chicago's defense is 22nd in the league. Chicago pass D is worse than their run D. Of course, the Giants will be down in this game, so they will have to pass.  Concerned if the Bears decide to run to ball and run the clock.  Alshon Jeffery is an emerging talent and Marshall is a beast.  The bet depends on how healthy Marshall is for the game.

I think Bears cover this one, their defense is terrible, they have no running game (someone said they'll work the clock but I don't know how) and Eli is throwing picks like crazy, something the Bears D love to do.

Every team has put more than 30 on them, including the horrible Panthers and Alex Smith, don't see why Cutler can't do it.

Just my opinion

Under 47.5 here. Are the giants due YES is Chicago due YES. Both offenses are garbage. Both teams love to run the ball and prove the ground game.

the under may very well hit, but the giants do not like to pound the ball at all.

Da Bears covered only one game this year and the Giants are winless at 0-5 ats, I see a sloppy game with big plays on special teams and lots of turnovers some for scores! I thinking Giants +7.5 and over 47

i will tell you right now i have been burned by the giants so many times and their over.

tired of it.

Under doesn't make sense to me.  You have the Bears coming off two losses, @ home in a prime time spot...TNF is primetime bro.  You have the Giants on a winless streak in a spot some would consider a must win game.

You can't simply look at last year's matchup and call it as the same.  Situations change.  You have to cap the situation, not the trends.

Giants have no run game, they're in a terrible spot without a win.  They have one of the most premier clutch QBs in the NFL in Eli Manning.  No run game, well then it's time to put this game on Eli's shoulders.

Bears on the other hand have switched to a offensive minded coach in Marc Trestman.  The defense has mostly the same faces and talent, but they're coached differently.  This isn't Lovie smith's team anymore and they'll give up points.  Since they got the talent and the crowd, I expect the Bears to make opportunistic plays in turnovers.  That's where the Giants weakness lies and I expect the Bears defense to exploit.

If you're riding the under for the game, I'd highly suggest you jump on the over for the 1H to hedge it slightly and maybe you'll hit both who knows.

Then again, I'm only doing my best a capping and I could be completely wrong.  That's gambling baby.
