Why is NOONE taking Niners -5???

I've done my usual due diligence over the last few days to take the time and cap this Seahawks v Niners game, and I'm truly baffled, yeah I used that word.

This is the same niners D that knocked around hasselback is gonna have a field day with jackson's down-the-field accuracy.  Seattle will grind, and I trust Gore more than Lynch, and niner D more than Seattle's in a grind match.

Then there's the talent difference...

I could argue, but I'm not going to, that the niners have position players that are among the top-of-their-class.  Ie. Vernon Davis, Patrick Willis, Frank Gore...arguably one of the best TE's, definitely one of the best inside LB's, and a top running back.  That's just to start off...

 Then there's Seattle...yeah, they have Marshawn Lynch.  But they replaced HASSELBACK FOR T JACKSON, that should say it right there.  Decreased vertical passing, and try scrambling the pocket on the niners LB speed, not gonna happen.  He will be relegated to passing and threading over the second wave of defenders and before the safeties, and that's when the INT party starts.

I can't see ANY way the niners don't win by 10 or more, and by a TD at half.  Anyone who disagrees, reply por favor.  I know based off of the fact NOBODY has the niners posted as a win makes me a little more confident about the pick.

SPECIAL ICING ON THE CAKE:  HARBOUGH WOULD LOVE TO WHOOP THE SHIT OUT OF P CARROL FOR ALL THOSE PAC 10 DAYS.  And don't give me that new coach garbage, he's part of a coaching bloodline, successful college track record, and has has been around this atmosphere all his life.

Spread don't matter when these 2 teams meet .  Dog won outright and Fav covered last 5 years / 10 games.

I don't care about 2008 when neither coach was there, and Shaun Hill was tossing the rock to NOONE...literally, look at the game.  Frank Gore was the leading receiver and Isaac Bruce was starting lol. 

This year, there's crabtree, ted ginn, oh yeah, and BRAYLON EDWARDS are alex smith's targets, will open up gore in the flats. 

This game is gonna BLIND SIDE people, watch.  Complete mismatch to the niners advantage in almost every position...marshawn lynch isn't gonna due shit on that LB core and front 7

Pete knows how to prepare his team for opening game.  His ats/su record on opening game was pretty good when he was with USC and last year was no deference.  He went young , big, faster defense, and hopefully not dumb.  I have under already but i think i ll add Hawks ML/ Under parlay as well.

love the niners, everyone believes the seahawks are the same team as last year. they aren't w/o the kickoff game. don't forget your choosing tavaris jackson over alex smith. i know it isn't a race of great quality but i'd take smith and his team @ home any day over the hawks.

The reason nobody is talking about this game is most people are smart enough to realize their are way better games on the board. You mind as well say black or red, even or odd cause you a fifty fifty on this game no variables are gonna help you.  And if you win and say I told you so, some team had to win and to bet two teams noone should rely on.  Go with a more reputable team with a reputable qb at the helm, the nfl has plenty.

Could go either way. Don't know how someone can bet this matchup in week 1 with confidence unless there was some crazy trend, system, angle. Same 49ers team that disappointed many critics last year. Looks pretty on paper when you mention Gore, Willis, and Davis. Seattle had nobody and they dismantled the Saints in the playoffs. You mention coach hating coach angle in your original writeup, so why are you ripping lg700 for his comment?

nice write up 49ers easy pick this week. lets consider them being home for the opening game of the season. T Jackson is an obvious reason to fade Seattle. Public or (PUBES) i call them all over Seattle. You really think seattle is gonna go into san fran and just dominate with a sub par run game and sub par pass game with one of the best defenses in the league. come on man don't ever think this one

Why in gods name would you buy down from 5 just to stop at 3.5? Hell, I would have sold a half point and took -5.5 -105 if anything......

Seattle ML +190ish is the best value in this game however
