Can&#x27;t say thats why they lost but it sure was stupid. The part that bothers me the most is now the Pats have a cakewalk to the AFC Championship game. The Jets can&#x27;t eat off the Patriots waste basket. They will get torn apart... again! Going to be such a boring fucking game to watch man.

No that was against the Jags. They were content to play for OT. Caldwell&#x27;s D hadn&#x27;t stopped them all day. So he calls TO instead of letting the clock run down. Jags change there mind and get game winning FG.

these coaches should really be held accountable for being so stupid.  horrible clock management there.  the colts lost because of their defense.  the jets made adjustments and the colts couldn&#x27;t.  caldwell did nothing to help his team today.  the special teams killed them too.

Can someone please tell me the advantage of calling a timeout in that situation?  It was second down...so it made no differance because the colts would not have gotten the ball back anyways..It just gave the jets more time...Bring in Gruden, Caldwell is stupid.

Caldwell is such a conservitive coach that it makes you sick....  even on the drive that got them the go ahead fg. why would you just run the ball there and not have the one of the best qb in history try to get to closer, pick up a first down and kill more clock.. 3 straight run isn&#x27;t going to kill all the time considering that the jets have 3 timeouts left..  caldwell is a horrible coach, and has no killer instinct in him..  he doesn&#x27;t know how to put teams away or go for the kill when teams are down...  coaching makes a big differences in the NFL.. that why the pats will cake walk all the way to the Super Bowl and the colts are gonna be watching it at home!!!

[/Quote]i have no problem with getting that play off before the 2 minute warning.  it was a good running play that got a few yards.  peyton needed to mix in some runs to keep the defense honest and the best time to do it is right before the 2 minute warning.  the play gaind 5-6 yards and made the defense think the colts might not pass it every down.another thing you have to understand is this isn&#x27;t the ame indy offense as in the past.  in the past, you knew indy would score, and they had the luxury of playing with the clock.  with this team against this great defnese, priority number one is scoring somehow and if you can do it with very little time on the clock, that&#x27;s great, but they barely even scored.  hindsight is 20/20 but peyton can&#x27;t assume they would score with 1 second left with the team he now has against that defense.  the colts mixed the pass and run well.  no major sacks or turnovers for a team that relies just about 100% on its qb.

i dont think it would have mattered but it was a stupid call on his part and leaves him to be ridiculed.  the colts didnt have it this year at all and no one should be surprised at this outcome.

had no problem with manning clock management at the end he had the ball at the 32 yard line with 1 minute left he didn&#x27;t know a incomplete pass was coming on a 3rd and 6. so he lesft the jets with 45 seconds on the clock......stupid ass timeout by a dumbass coach lets the jets regroup and sanchez talks the plays over with ryan....and than before halftime 1 minute on the clock at the 23 and timeouts left you run the ball? really. nice job caldwell out coached big time....

Let&#x27;s not beat around the bush here. That idiotic call was one of the few decisions/plays/moments that cost the Colts the game. When I say few, there may have been a total of 3.... If the coach had any ounce of common sense and not called the timeout at that moment, what do the Jets most likely do? Run up the middle for a couple more yards to run more clock, maybe throw a short pass, get a handful of yards at most and then Folk has a 45&#x2B; yd , maybe upwards of 50, FG attempt which I doubt he makes under that pressure.... Ridiculous.... Peyton has lost a lot trust in his coach and rightfully so....

As if that ridiculous timeout wasn&#x27;t bad enough, wtf was Caldwell thinking kicking to Cromartie with less than a minute left?  Squib it down and let Sanchez beat you but don&#x27;t run the risk of a return...which is exactly what determined the eventual outcome.  Colts won&#x27;t go anywhere with that guy in charge.
