i can&#x27;t lay that with NE when they have so many starters from last season out. not to mention they are on a short week and teams tend to like to just grind out a win because they have little to not time to game plan.

Jets secondary is not as good with Revis, but the front four is very good and young. Rex Ryan may be a complete buffoon when it comes to handling the media and QB controversy, but the guy knows how to coach defense.

Being a Jet fan I watched the whole Bucs at Jets game... The Jets front four looked oustanding. They even got 3 sacks without blitzing and stuffed Doug Martin all day. Considering Gino Smith fumbled deep in his own territory the defense really only gave up 10pts.

I don't think the Jets will score over 10pts so the pats need 24 pts to cover and with Brady and Bellicheat that is almost a given.

The Pats are 1-5 in September games at home as a double digit fav, the last cover was against the Bills in 2007. Look at the games too, KC, Mia, Buf, and AZ. All crappy teams.

They have a lot of injuries and are not practicing this week.

No doubt they win against the Jets but I don't think they'll cover.
