I tried with them, I really did . . . the one time I picked the Colts to cover was against NO . . . we all know how that worked out. In the past week I had an epiphany. Why would I put good money on garbage teams? To me, a sharp play is betting a team that underachieved all year and has the talent to cover, not complete ratshit squads like the Colts who play with no heart, passion, or pride.
Atlanta is coming off back-to-back quality wins against Carolina and Detroit. The one thing about the Falcons is they always beat the teams theyre supposed to. They only fall flat against decent competition. I can see the Colts getting picked on the whole game as ATL throttles these bums.
Fuck the "sharp" play, fuck line movement, fuck "let down" spots, fuck all those bullshit intangibles that get ppl to put good money on shit teams. ATL is better then Indy in every skill position on offense, including o-line. ATL actually has a somewhat respectable defense while the Colts have one pass rusher and undersized LB's.
If the Colts cover, I'll eat my crow, but I will be damned if I throw good money on Indy . . . they blow.

wow . . nice drive by atlanta. Straight off a turnover, atlanta drives down the field to score a TD without 1 passing play!!! They are dominating the line of scrimage.

The perception on the Colts are mainly based on their last 2 or 3 games which were all road games. Now they're home in this one, where they will certainly play better than the last 3 weeks.
They outgained Tenn last week 399 to 311. If it wasn't for the blocked punt TD, it might have been 13-10 instead of 20-10 going into that late drive where Indy was forced to throw and wound up getting picked off in their own territory leading to the Titans last score.
They also had 10 penalties in that game and 1st and goal twice where they didn't score. Two more things that aren't as likely to happen to a home team.
So why they aren't good, they may not quite be "pathetic" at home this week. This is still the same team that almost beat Pitt in Indy.
Plus Atlanta is a TD favorite in an out of conference game with the Saints to look fowrard to next week.

Its not about perception, look ahead to next week, or their "strong" play against Pitt. The Falcons are dominating the line of scrimage on both sides of the ball. The Colts are playing Curtis fucking Painter (their 3rd string QB). This is gonna be a slaughter . . .

I don't care if the Colts make a miracle comeback and cover this game. Putting your money on a team with Jim Caldwell as the coach and Curtis Painter as the QB is just a fucking all around losing proposition
