Let&#x27;s talk about this tic tac new rule on slashing. I have been yelling at the TV all week. Will it continue after the first month or just a flavor of the month rule? And I would disagree...right now you have one heavyweight (Caps) playing a middleweight (Pens) based upon the first week of play, but the Flightless Fowl do have a tendency to rise to the occasion. Hope you had a good summer Lipps.

Bruins seem to play well in Colorado. They just flip away wins. Let down spot for the Flames and bounce back spot for the ducks. Tho I won&#x27;t be playing the ducks. They looked dreadful last game.

It will be like all the rule changes, after a month or so it will be slowly forgotten.  It was pretty pretty good.........Hope yours was good also.

Legit slashes near the hand should be called...A guy laying his stick near your hands should not be called......and stick on stick should never be called.....and the breaking of the stick being an automatic is also lame......just let the refs have some discretion...Bettman is slowly ruining the NHL each year.....I have to rewatch Redwings Avs playoff games or the USA world cup win to remember what real hockey was like.....You should have to fight through some resistance....no more front of the net battles its a disgrace
