So if last night was the appetizer, is tonight the main course? Some things just remain the same. Vas and Igor stood on their heads most of the night, Vas more so than Igor. I thought the Rangers could have easily put up 4-5 goals had it not been for Vas. In the night cap, I watched the 1P only (late for old people on the east coast) and went to bed thinking I would not miss much. But was I wrong, it appears that the 3P was pretty fast paced hockey. Vegas put up 47 SOG 
So onto tonight. Man, some of these lines are just stupid. Let me start with the Leafs (-260). Sure, Habs are bottom of the barrel, but do you realize that 1. it's a heated rivalry and 2. Both meetings last year in Montreal, the Habs won both of them. Opening night and our first -400+ of the year. Avs host the Hawks. I think the Hawks will compete with the Yotes to see who gets the first pick in the draft next year, but -410? Yep, they'll be someone that lays it in the forum and profess to be great. And finally, the Canes at -265. I think this will be closer than appears. BJ's have the offense but lack in defense. I am leaning the over in this game personally. We have the veteran, ok, old, Caps vs the MASH unit B's. I watched a couple of B's pre-season games and they weren't bad even with missing all their key plays. Do the Sea Monster's take a step up this year? That might be the dog of the night. Edmonton? Campbell? Wait and see, but they will be another offensive machine.
