Good morning. 1-1 yesterday. Not even going to bother trying to keep track of the season record. Ive lost more than ive won this is for certain. Only one play locked in for today so far and that is....
2LP MIN ML -185/NJD ML -310 = -104 - Put this in last night after watching the devils come back win against the isles. Chicago could sneak one out against the wild. No real travel for NJD. SJS have NJD tonight and flyers tomorrow night. MY guess would be that SJS may see PHI as a more winnable game (careful there) and try to relax for the "easier" opponent tomorrow night.

NO idea whatsoever with CBJ and ANA. CBJ couldnt get anything going last night against the kings and shotty goal tending at best. CBJ game totals are avg 6.53 GPG with the O6.5 hitting 9 out of 13 games. BTW that avg includes a SO win over NYI, 3 games where one of the teams (CBJ VS Opp OR Opp VS CBJ) only scored one goal (one of which STILL went over the total courtesy of a 6 goal effort from CBJ) and multiple 2 goal efforts but still clearing the O6.5 mark 69% of the time.
ANA on the other hand plays much tighter with their games totals only avg 5.07 GPG with the O6.5 only hitting 3 out of 13 games only clearing a set total of 6.5 23% of the time. If the total was 5.5 ANA clears the total only 46% of the time.
Both teams are on a 4 game losing streak at the moment with ANA dropping its last 3 on home ice. They are smack in the middle of a 6 game home stand i am sure they would love to get a win during. However, the ducks are 4-7-2 on the season with wins coming against SJSx2, UHC, NYI and two OT games lost to COL and PIT.
Meanwhile CBJ are 5-6-2 with wins coming against COL, BUF, TOR, EDM, NYI and two OT games lost to NAS and SJS. ANA has yet to beat a playoff type team where CBJ has already picked up 3 such wins. CBJ are on the opposite spectrum currently on a 5 game road trip that I am sure they would love to pick up at least one win during. CBJ have ANA tonight and SEA Tuesday night. ANA def seems like the easier spot to get a win but they will have to score more than 3 goals to get the job done.
CBJ/ANA is currently OTB at BET365. I will be looking to see what they come up with for the total and ML odds. I am more like to play a total in this game and I do not play unders... IF the total is 6, based on the projected goalies I would take the O6 and hope for a good high scoring game, something the Ducks have not produced many of this season. But if CBJ can get their scoring going or let the ducks get going, the game is likely to clear 6 goals. IF I HAD to pick a side, I would say CBJ has beaten higher quality teams but lost their only other B2B last weekend to WIN & WAS. Obviously, a different caliber of competition with ANA so taking that into consideration I think CBJ rights the ship after four games before heading to SEA, a game not as winnable as their opponent this evening in ANA. Both teams are desperate for a win which makes things hard in our world. Look forward to seeing everyone's picks and insight!
CHEERS and BOL everyone!
