Just thinking the first goal will be HUGE. The crowd will already be nuts to begin with. Imagine if STL scores first on top of that. Now if BOS scores first and esp. second, the air should come out of that building. PS: I have Boston for the series BEFORE it began. Talk about my roller coaster of emotions for the past 2 weeks!

My 2 cents here. I don't watch Hockey, not one game, ever. But I am watching these finals and I don't even know why? LOL. Anyway, of course I saw the no-call bad-call in game 5. The NHL can't afford this bad publicity for their game. The NFL and the NBA doesn't care about their refs making bad calls or bad publicity because people will watch their product anyway. But the NHL doesn't have that luxury. They have to correct this or they will lose the lesser amount of fans they have now. Thing is, this BAD CALL is not even talked about too much. That's how much the NHL is followed. But this was a HUGE miss call. We are talking about a game 5 with the series tied 2-2. It CHANGED the game and series immensely. Yet ESPN isn't even talking about it. So that actually balances out the game. People say the league will fix the problem and have calls go the Bruins way. I see it that way as well. But on the flip side. The NHL can't do that because that would make the cause even worse than it is now with the no-call. With that said. I think Boston prevails tonight fair and square. No help from refs. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching these finals, but the no-call has deteriorated me a little bit. I'll be watching tonight, but I won't watch Hockey anymore as long as bad calls are being made. Again, the NHL isn't the NFL. Just my 2 cents.

The main problem in Game 5 was that the Bruins couldn't solve Binnington. Missed calls are not the main issue here. (Don't get me wrong there is no excuse for the officiating in that game it was brutal)
The decision to go with 11 forwards another poor decision for the B's. If they do that again it's over tonight in St. Louis.

All I heard on sports talk radio while driving around today was why the NBA finals have the worst TV ratings in over a decade. No talk of the NHL at all. My biggest complaint with the NHL finals is the length of the series. For example the Bruins the Bruins finished up their conference finals in mid-May. It's been 25 days since that happened and they've only played 5 games since then. It's ridiculous. The NBA is no better.
Get on with the playoffs and keep the interest going. Teams play back to backs all year long. These 3 day long breaks kill the fan's momentum.
I feel good from a betting stand point having bet the Blues +320 to win before the semis took place. I'll take Boston +105 tonite to cover the initial investment and possibly double dip for a huge payday.

The travel delay isn't because no the team's necessarily.
The media and everyone is trying to get into the city for the big event.
Not enough planes trains automobiles name it.
