The Blues: A win would give them a chance to finish first, depending on how the Predators and Jets fare
Jets: They can finish no worse than second with a win at the Arizona. They hold the regulation/overtime wins (ROW) tiebreaker. That would guarantee Winnipeg home-ice advantage in the Western Conference First Round, either against Dallas or Colorado as the first wild card if it wins the division, or against third-place Nashville or St. Louis if it finishes second.
Dallas : They need one point against Minny to make the Avs the second WC and put the Avs into a first round against the Flames
Isles: If they get one point tonight against the Caps, that would give the Isles home ice advantage in the first round.
Canes, Pens and Jackets.....Oh my: They all will move seeding today depending on how they do. The Pens could pass the Isles for 2nd with a regulation loss by the Isles and if the Pens beat the Rangers. But a regulation loss to the Rangers and a win by the Hurricanesat the Philly would put the Hurricanes into thirdand drop the Penguins to the first wild card and a first-round series against the Capitals.
The Canes are one point ahead of the Blue Jackets who hold the second wild card but have the ROW edge on the Canes. A Carolina win means finishing no worse than the first wild card; a loss, and a win by the Jackets against the Sens, would move the Jackets into the first wild card and put the Canes into the second and a first-round series against Tampa

How does Columbus approach the game in Ottawa?A win could avoid a first round match with Tampa, but they still could face Washington. If Columbus rests the best players, Ottawa certainly could have value so not too sure on Torts approach?!
Great info. I think Torts will have em play for the win.. Gotta play to win every game..
