I know it's such a joke. Funny thing is you never hear anyone bitching about the owners. Considering that they are the ones that call the shots and Gary is just the mouthpiece for them. Especially the Canadian owners who have a say also about teams being in the non traditional US states. They go where the money is and that's where it is. Population and TV contracts. So of course there are certain match ups the league would prefer. The ones where the TV viewership will be highest. But the whole Gary is controlling who wins and crap like that is just a joke.

Also it seems the longer a Canadian team goes without winning the Cup the stronger talk it gets. But of course mainly people from Canada.

Personally I love hockey going in "Non traditional" places. Spread the love of pucks everywhere !!!

Also I would love for Canada to get another team. I guess Gary went to sleep and didn't know Atlanta moved to Winnipeg ?

So people should be all excited because they gave the people of winnipeg a franchise back after stealing their original one away?? I hope that's a joke?? Quebec is still waiting to get one back after they stole their team when they were just ready to win some cups..

Ofcourse people blame the owners, hence when you keep reading the thugs that run the league, that is the owners, they are all businessmen and all part of the problem, the little criminal lawyer leads the orchestra however and he should be called out, it is as you say his face so obviously his name is used as it should be, it is also a very funny thing to do at this point, which anyone should be able to gather on their own.

Mostly Canadians complain lol...gee I wonder why, I guess because it is their teams continuously getting cheated and fukked over?? Could be why. And as you know I don't cheer for a Canadian team, however I do like to see fair competition in the game I love, something the NHL does not offer, only to the deaf dumb and blind does it seem on the level. It's great they want hockey in different places, they have always wanted that, LA got a team in 67 and many other were attempted, atlanta flames, oakland seal, cleveland barons, kansas city scouts, colorado rockies etc, but there was not blatant, corrupt cheating done to achieve it, it was done with patience and the fans had to be patient and support their team while it grew, WHICH IS WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN, not steal teams from other cities that are already ready to win championships, if you think that is ok then shame on you buddy. The NHL realize the only way to engage american fans in those cities and that was by GIVING them championships and making the game more american over years and they have done both by orchestrating all of that.

I have seen some of the teams I cheer for benefit from these cheats. I think of my Raiders in mexico in an nfl game, they could not have fixed a game for my team to win more. The game was an utter embarrassment to pro sports and my team won and I collected money because i knew the NFL would not allow them to lose that game in mexico.

No offence to anyone but anyone that can't see that many of these games and series are not pushed in certain directions.

This is all just simple business and all also very obvious when watching these games, No one with any ability to reason should have any problem getting and seeing any of this, no offence to those that do.

By the way I predicted right on here that Canadian teams would be rebuilt and have a bit of a resurgence because they had to, no one was watching here anymore and that is exactly what has happened over the past few years as the league was dying here. They had no choice. They were losing the entire country so they are trying to regain some fans. And for people that don't understand, Leafs games are filled with corporate tickets, they are not real blue collar fans going to those games, no one pays those prices, 80% of the tickets go to corporations in Toronto and it is mostly clients being entertained or people being given free tickets, that is how it works here for the most part, only the odd zombie pays 200-300 bucks to got see a hockey game.

It's almost all corporate now. Even though Vegas is getting great support for their 1st year and great run. You know corporate is the only reason they got that team, well that and the 40 some million people just west of them. Oh and BTW, a team earns a championship, nothing is given. I was trying to imply, how could that goal or anything that happens in a game, be controlled by someone not playing in the game? Your opinion is fine and I like hearing all opinions and respect yours just as much as anyone elses and from what I have seen you appear to be a very warm hearted person as well just like myself. I understand some people are very far fetched, but I said that to you because yes obviously no one is throwing a puck in the net for anyone but games are slanted towards certain teams, years of viewing impartially have shown that be fact to me. These games and teams are very close and just a few calls or non calls in a certain direction, tilting the favoritism is usually enough to make a side a winner. And yes Bettman is a lawyer who was trained by another crooked lawyer named David Stern who ran the NBA in a brutality and blatant corrupt fashion during the era that saw an NBA ref sent to prison for betting on games because he claimed the league was telling to have certain teams win so he would go down the hallway and bet on the team they were ordered to help win. Bettman who had never seen an NHL game in his life was trained to run the NHL as a business and send it in a certain direction. The league and it's games for many many years now have been orchestrated to achieve those goals. To me this has been blatantly obvious and it saddens and pains me that so many people can't see it. But they are the same people that think pharmaceutical companies didn't realize that AZT the first aids drug was not only not helping anyone it was helping to kill them faster and continued to hide what they knew and pump the drug out, essentially murdering people and helping no one. It is all about money. Unfortunately this is our world. You think if corporations do things like that for money over human lives that a corporation will not give certain teams unfair preferential treatment at sporting events to achieve growth in certain regions thus escalating financial growth in their industry?

You think there is not a team in Quebec City because the Leafs think they may lose attendance?? No offence, I know you don't live here or understand any of the politics or dynamics of our country so I will try and help you. A team in the province of Quebec which might as well be another country for many Canadians concerned in both provinces would have absolutely 100% no affect whats so ever on the Toronto Maple Leafs, I am no chuckling because I get being from another country you would have no way to know this. The Leafs through the years have actually promoted having an NHL team in Hamilton which is extremely close because they know the rivalries are great for the interest of fanbases. If the CFL can support teams in both Hamilton and Toronto for over a century I am pretty sure the NHL can too LOL, never mind Quebec City which geographically, politically and culturally might as well be Denver. There are roughly 9 million people in the GTA now and all the surrounding areas are exploding in population as well. No offence again I realize you are foreign to this country so don't know better but that is completely absurd and way off base. There i no team in Quebec because your little lawyer buddy will not allow it. The Colisee would be packed just like it always was back then which had zero affect on the Leafs when the population here was half the size.....

Once again, the reason the teams are going where they are is pure money, but you know that. The States will generate more than Canada will. If you think they could make as much in Canada don't you think they would put a freaking team there !!
