Well you are certainly wrong about how often I watch hockey. I watch most of regular season hockey and all of the playoffs. Only NBA I watch is postseason.

I'm from Baltimore and incase you weren't aware we don't have a professional hockey team so I choose to root for the Caps. It's a tough life. I do know what a team of destiny is though, and I also know how to spot one when I see it. Rangers are that team this year. Actually we just had a team of destiny win the Super Bowl two years ago.

And I couldn't agree more with you about NY fans ... I get to deal with the Yankees all summer

Nah it&#x27;s destiny. It all started when they dumped that s h i t t y coach tortorella and shipped him away to another world. Then they trade for the world class Martin St Louis who was kicked to the curb and left off Canadian team. Poor guy should have a Gold Medal this year. Lundqvist has put in his time, even if his p u s s y leaks at times. It&#x27;s destiny now my friends, and if it isn&#x27;t it will be after they beat Chicago or LA. Its funny when the haters let there heart make predictions on games . Most of the Montreal backers last night were anti Ranger plays . How you can objectively pick the Habs after being out played in every facet on Sunday ,then starting a goalie that only had 2 reg season starts all year .Then dismiss the fact that the Rangers have the best goalie playing on any team still in the hunt ,who is arguably in the top3 goalies in hockey last few years . All you big time hockey guys ,did you not see the Rangers make a total transformation in Pitts and make Crosby look like a 3rd line rookie?? You can hate the big time in NY ,but you cant be blind by hatred and or jealousy

.Its black and white .the Rangers last night proved again after holding off the desperation and going down a goal early in Montreal that they are playing the best hockey of any team left period . NHL gets a break this year and can get some real advertising money .they are thrilled there will be no Canadian team No LA beach teams .Chicago and NY CUP ..The Finals will be in the 2 big cities against 2 of the old time teams played in 2 great arenas 1 of them the Mecca at MSG

As for Crosby and the penguins, the penguins are a garbage playoff team and the blue jackets made crosby look like a 3rd liner so no huge accomplishment there. Crosby has 1 goal in his last 17 playoff games and the penguins are one of the weakest playoff teams the nhl can serve up. The rangers were dead in the water and would have lost in 5 games to the weak penguins but alas the universe entered into things when marty&#x27;s mom died on the day of game 5. They have not lost since.
