like Boo said somewhat surprising the Dallas Stars in the middle with Bugs and Blues near the bottom BUT those last two are bleeding money while Dallas made a slight profit

Forbes NHL team valuations (millions of dollars)
1. Toronto Maple Leafs $1,300 2. New York Rangers $1,100 3. Montreal Canadiens $1,000 4. Chicago Blackhawks $825 5. Vancouver Canucks $800 6. Boston Bruins $750 7. Philadelphia Flyers $625 million 8. Los Angeles Kings $580 9. Detriot Red Wings $570 10. Pittsburgh Penguins $565 11. Washington Capitals $500 12. Edmonton Oilers $475 13. Calgary Flames $451 14. San Jose Sharks $425 15. Florida Panthers $190
like Boo said somewhat surprising the Dallas Stars in the middle with Bugs and Blues near the bottom BUT those last two are bleeding money while Dallas made a slight profit
2013-2014 Operating Income LOSERS (some surprises)
Minnesota Wild = LOST $5.4 million Anaheim Ducks = LOST $3.7 million New Jersey Devils = LOST $2.2 million New York Islanders = LOST $2.5 million St Louis Blues = LOST $6.5 million Tampa Bay Lightning = LOST $11.9 million Arizona Coyotes = LOST $4.6 million Carolina Hurricanes = LOST $14.0 million Columbus Bluejackets = LOST $15.6 million Florida Panthers = LOST $15.6 million
Wild, Ducks,Lightning and Blues as money losers somewhat a surprise to me BUT in the case of the Blues Forbes said NOT getting past the 1st round in the playoffs combined with one of the WORST TV deals in the league really hurts them. also somewhat surprised the Coyoyes lost less than $5 million and the Stars actually made a slight profit despite BOTH being one of the lowest average attendance teams in the league
Forbes had an interesting note Nashville: part of the reason they are profitable is Bridgestone Arena, which is operated by the Predators, was the sixth-busiest concert arena in the U.S. in 2013, according to Pollstar (NOT surprising in "Music City")
HOW much longer do the Panthers have to bleed money in Florida before Bettman lets them move to Quebec City? also moving the Hartford Whalers to Carolina starting to look like >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txG_QEoNwSA

I believe those numbers are so skewed they are simply ridiculas. Owning a team and an arena has so many other income options that they never mention in these reports. Read an article years ago about a guy who looked deeper into the Panthers situation and exposed so much. They rent out those arenas for concerts and rodeos and what not that is pretty laughable. These are business with big time write offs. Expansion teams are going for huge amounts for a reason. Forbes or not, they are making money hand over fist as they say,

See that's the thing about it. Bettman has no control at all, he is a puppet. You need to contact the Board of Governors.
But the Leafs sure do have control on a team moving to Quebec City.
