A few surprises to me.

Dallas in the middle and Isles in the bottom tier.

Too bad we couldn't get a collection together to buy the Isles. I think that is a franchise on the rise again.

Also surprised at Tampa's low showing. Not far from the Panters but worlds apart in value IMHO.

Wild, Ducks,Lightning and Blues as money losers somewhat a surprise to me BUT in the case of the Blues Forbes said NOT getting past the 1st round in the playoffs combined with one of the WORST TV deals in the league really hurts them. also somewhat surprised the Coyoyes lost less than $5 million and the Stars actually made a slight profit despite BOTH being one of the lowest average attendance teams in the league

Forbes had an interesting note Nashville: part of the reason they are profitable is Bridgestone Arena, which is operated by the Predators, was the sixth-busiest concert arena in the U.S. in 2013, according to Pollstar (NOT surprising in "Music City")

I believe those numbers are so skewed they are simply ridiculas. Owning a team and an arena has so many other income options that they never mention in these reports. Read an article years ago about a guy who looked deeper into the Panthers situation and exposed so much. They rent out those arenas for concerts and rodeos and what not that is pretty laughable. These are business with big time write offs. Expansion teams are going for huge amounts for a reason. Forbes or not, they are making money hand over fist as they say,

See that&#x27;s the thing about it.  Bettman has no control at all, he is a puppet.  You need to contact the Board of Governors.But the Leafs sure do have control on a team moving to Quebec City.
