Team stats don't really mean much to be honest .. a lot of it is situational and, like other have mentioned, finding ways to limit the juice you pay for favs. There are a lot of weird things in hockey like certain teams simply being unable to beat other teams regardless of their record / recent play. For example, Caps have beaten the Bruins like 15 times in a row (I forget the actual number but it's close). I would check each starting goalies' numbers vs the team they're playing as each goalie seems to excel and suck against certain teams for whatever reason. Hockey is hard due to the influence of luck on the game and, in my opinion, you have to limit the number of plays you make to come out on top in the long run. Good luck
