anyone who thinks otherwise should download the game and see how many missed calls there was on the hawks in this game. Just the Hossa incident alone should ve been a major power play for chicago but somehow we were killing a penalty after that....pathetic how none of the refs made the call, one of them was standing 2 feet from it

Did the NHL also explain why the refs consistently picked out hawks players for "roughing" out of scrums?

Not even going to bother with all the trips/hooks/slashes the yotes got away with tonight.

There was a time I used to think that the NHL is a more legit league than the NBA, that is no longer true...

Enough of the conspiract theories. Hawks are just getting outplayed. Mike Smith is in beast mode. Give a litte credit where credit is due. Some of u were predicting the hawks to sweep the yotes. If not for a fluke pulled goalie goal and sloppy OT breakout pass yotes would be the ones going for the sweep. If hossa cant return hawks are done imo. It was a big hit and a tad late, but it wasnt as crazy as people are making it out to be. Hossa is a tough dude. He must have gotten hit in a really sensitive spot to be that hurt

I won&#x27;t argue you&#x27;ve gotten jobbed  abit by the refs. I won&#x27;t argue you have more talent than Phoenix, probably by a LOT. But Chicago is not a better "team" than Phoenix. Chicago&#x27;s neutral and defensive zone defense is horrible, just horrible. The amount of space they give players in their zone is matched by few NHL teams, and their positioning and coverage is terrible. Worse yet, your goalie blows. These are two close to equal teams, and Phoenix has a huge edge in net.

Just watched the Torres hit again, and yes i think it is bad (leaving feet, targeting head), but don&#x27;t really think it is that different than Neal on Couturier aside from the result. I think it is getting blown a little out of proportion due to who it was and the result. Still think he gets 8 games plus, as should have a lot more people this year. Keith specifically.

Fuck Torres, he hurt Seabrook last year and no call. And he took out Michalek and turned that series around against San Jose. Hope they toss him for the playoffs. Yotes and the league need that playoff money, they will do anything to make sure they get to the next round. You don&#x27;t think Bettman was  aware that a "hit" to make sure his boys have an advantage was going to take place?
