This should be a good one .. a couple things immediately come to mind ...
1. The Avs speed ... the Sharks aren't necessarily a "slow" team but they're not a fast team either .. the Avs really push the pace thanks in large part to MacKinnon, Barrie, and several of their depth guys. I think the Sharks will have trouble keeping pace ..
2. Inconsistent goaltending ... we all know Martin Jones is hit or miss and I'm not entirely sold on Grubauer .. who shows up more times than not?
3. Star power .. Avs top line is one of the best in the NHL and now with Maker in the mix the d-core is rock solid with one of the more underrated "defensive d man" in the NHL in Ian Cole ... Karlsson looks no where close to 100%. Will Pavelski play at all? We'll see how both recover ..
For me, the Avs are in a better position physcially than the Sharks and have the best player in the series by a wide margin .. I'll take Avs +125 series and see how the first couple games play out ... what say you?

I think this might finally be the Sharks year after what happened last night. Avs are an extremely talented but still young team, and the Sharks will have a gameplan to beat them. Sharks take the series in 5 games.
