The problem with my gambling habit is I get furious when I lose. I break things when I lose a game of Ms. Pac-man so imagine how I am losing games I spend multiple hours researching! Started off down 20 units, had a 3-week stretch where I got it all back and more then gave it right back last week. So, back to the grind.
NASH/NYR under 6 -107 Ah my silly Rangers who you can never count on game-in and game-out. Last game out against Anaheim I assumed an over/under of 5.5 and from an eye-test I knew I wanted to bet the over…call it a gut feeling. Then I did what I always do and looked into the numbers and couldn’t believe that prior to the Sharks game, they had played 9-straight to the under and 11 of 12. Never would have thought. So, because of that, I changed my bet to the under…and lost lol. Moral of the story? If you have a gut feeling, gambling is what it is and you should stick with it. So back-to-back overs now after the long string of unders. My young Blueshirts play 11-4-1 to the under at home and as most in the league know at this point, Georgiev has been pretty hot recently with a .959 Save% and 1.41 GAA over his last 5 starts.
WASH -1/2 -115 *two units* Braden Holtby had a rough start to the season but since October flipped to November, he owns a 11-2-1 record and gets to face shots from a Columbus squad that, when they last played and lost were ranked #29 of 31 teams in shooting % and now come in ranked dead last. The Caps are 8-1-1 in their last 10 and bounced back from that lone regulation defeat against Columbus with big wins against Boston and Tampa. Now they get a revenge game here against the young BlueJackets.
ALEX OVECHKIN to score a goal -133 *half unit* Ovie is due. He’s only scored once in the last 6 games over his last 21 SOG and that was against these BlueJackets.
ALEX OVECHKIN over 4 SOG -113 *half unit* He averages 4.5 a game and had 6 SOG when they last played

DAL -1/2 -140 *half unit* Secondary scoring is Edmonton’s real issue as McDavid and Leon (I ain’t typing out that last name!) have been on the ice for a combined, I think an absurd 70+% rate of all goals scored. Dallas has been playing some low scoring games—5 straight to the under and 8 of 9 overall-0- as defense and goaltending are their foundations even with elite (not playing so) scorers in Seguin and Benn up front. Oilers are struggling, having lost 4-straight and giving up 19 GF in that span (4.75). They had a nice start but have been treading water (like my picks) since late October going 10-10-1 in that span.
DAL to win by 1 +575 *quarter unit*
EDM TT under 2 ½ -145 *half unit* Cannot stand these inflated juiced totals! Ben Bishop is outstanding on home ice with a .944 Save% and 1.74 GAA, He has only allowed more than 2 goals TWICE in 14 home starts this season which equates to 86% holding opponents to less than the number. He also has not allowed more than two goals in a start on home ice in back-to-back games and he’s coming off allowing his third goal in an OT loss to Vegas his last game out.
FLA TT over 3 ½ -140 *half unit* They finally light a fire under Bobrovsky’s ass and suddenly the offense can’t score—generating only 4 goals in the last 3 games total and in that span they have only scored those 4 on 94 SOG for a 4.25% shooting percentage which is way down from their top 10 season-long status in the league. Nilsson is vulnerable here as he only plays to an .897 Save% and 3.73 GAA on the road for the season. Over his last seven appearances however, he’s been getting beat up to an .880 Save% and 4.04 GAA. Panther’s offense should get back on track here.

NYI -145 *two units* Greiss is 7-0 at home with a .946 Save% and 1.61 GAA. I assume he’s starting despite no confirmation as of this writing—the Isles have rotated Greiss and Varlamov every game all season thus far so I’m assuming it’s a safe guess. Nashville coming off a win last night despite being outplayed the majority of the game and also their third game in four nights.
WIN -101 *two units* Winnipeg was on a 9-2-1 run before playing a stinker against Detroit (although to be fair Detroit was majorly due for a win so think of it as the perfect storm of two things just being due coming together). They bounced back from that game to thrash Philly and now play at home again where Connor Hellebuyck has a .932 Save% and 2.03 GAA.
*pending Hellebuyck confirmation*
ARZ +105 *two units* San Jose won last time out but not because they dominated—in fact they were out shot, lost more face offs and allowed more SCA than they created. Aaron Dell played a nice game and they took the win. Prior to that win, they had lost 6-straight and been out-scored 29 (4.83) to 10 (1.66). Arizona should come in fired up with their new offensive acquisition, Taylor Hall…who I’m guessing will be paired up with Phil Kessel who should be equally fired up to get a talented line mate. Add that to the fact Arizona plays very well on the road with an 11-4-3 record and I’ll take the shot at the slight road dog here.
3-team Parlay on above bets *half unit* 50/295
I’m calling this my next-day Tilt special. All aboard the Tilt Train! I’ve had 8-straight losing days! On a more serious note…I really do like these picks.

Didn't have much success last night either...I am strongly leaning toward the Isle myself and I like the Jets..so I am in the boat with you. We will celebrate or sink together.

I think your problem is this lately: You make too many plays on one game. I'm finding this out about this season... it's too tough to bet a total and a side. Rarely do I get both of them.
Good luck to you tonight Bartender and things will start going your way just keep at the picks without changing them.

I know. I kind of agree. I've had some huge cards this season and seemingly many. But its usually because during my research it weeds out bets I don't like and narrows it down. The analysis this year has just led to more bets being open than normal that I felt were strong.
I dunno at this point. Isles give up 8, Jets get crushed at home...

Luck is one hell of a factor in this sport. I live in Europe and, of course, soccer is the big game here. In regular season (way different in cups tournament) you don't have that luck bias. A good team with no injuries will crush a mediocre one.
Luck will come back to you

Damn man today was pretty rough for you. Oh well, atleast ARZ. came through. Even they almost fucked it up at the end. But honestly today was one of those weird days, lots of teams that looked good on paper shit the bed. Keep grinding man, luck will change as long as you keep putting in the work...

Those 2 penalties at the end I was rooting for you hard. Now that's some bad luck. Good thing they pulled it out
I know, right? I wasn't watching the game but I clicked on the GameCast on ESPN and saw the two penalties and under a minute to go...I was like oh here we go. Take what I can get at this point! I'm on a 1-0 streak! lol

I seriously loved all three of these bets today so I'm shocked at the results. Seriously questioning my ability to pick a winner. This is nine straight days of losing I'm currently on. I spent over $300 on wine to hand out to customers this year for the holidays. I'm a nice guy. Karma should be more fair to me lol

Dude It was crazy I read your post and I thought alright he's still got the yotes up 3-2 and I look over at the tv and they get called for playing with no helmet after kane literally knocked it off his head and then right after another bs cross check call and it was 6 on 3.
