*quarter unit* 3-team round robin parlay
NYI/CAR over 6 ½ -105 Games with Greiss have been an over machine all year and I expect a letdown from the Isles after that big rivalry win against NYR so potentially even more sloppy play and scoring chances allowed…as if that’s possible.
WIN -1 ½ +145 Scheifele’s return started out rocky with two straight losses even though they technically dominated my Rangers and looked to be getting worse when down 3-1 in the 3 period but they mounted a comeback. Offense has been generating more scoring chances as Scheifele gels back into the lineup. At home against a young Avalanche team who have struggled to score since losing MacKinnon is a recipe for a puck line win here as Winnipeg should get stronger with each passing game now.
DAL -1 ½ +210 This is a team that scores nearly 4 goals a game on home ice, who gets great goaltending from Ben Bishop on home ice and who generally win on home ice. All three of those things didn’t happen in their last home game—an embarrassing 6-0 shutout loss to Vancouver. Nice all around bounce-back situation set up here for The Stars. Jake Allen getting the nod for The Blues. He has strong numbers against Dallas this year. I don’t care, lol.

Good luck, everybody!

Isles goalies are a wall
Blues score a goal with a minute to go and as usual no empty netter to get a piece of the parlay to hit.

Very impressed with your picks this year and especially as of late bartender. I will be backing you with LA! Any thoughts on Arizona vs edmonton? I'm finding it tough not riding the hot 16-32 coyotes as a live dog ??
Goodluck all

Sorry. Wasn't near a computer after that early post. I personally had plans to take Ottawa (win) and Arizona over Edmonton (currently winning) which worries me as I'm now due to lose. Arizona and Edmonton are going in diff directions and The Yotes seem to take advantage, especially lately, of slumping teams so I would have backed them over this heartless Oilers team.

2 for 13. Historical stats are meaningless, imo. What they did anywhere outside of this current year has zero bearing on the teams we're betting on.
That said, this is an LAK team that still is top 3 in the league in goals allowed, who just made a big aquisition to help push them into the playoffs, playing to make maintain those playoffs, going into Buffalo, who season-long have been a bottom feeding offense, who just lost their best offensive player, captain and soul in Jack Eichel. Better team, more talented team, team with more to play for trumps anything that went on the last few years...even earlier this year in this situation.
That was my take on it, anyway.

Adding:
NJ/TB over 6 -104 Eddie Lack has just been confirmed for New Jersey here and he sports a sparkling .833 Save % and 4.55 GAA. His reward for such stellar play? A road date against the top ranked Tampa offense.
TB -1 ½ +130 *half unit* see above
TOR/PIT over 6 -130 There used to be a day where all over/unders were flat -110 lines. These days Vegas screws us with lines like this and I feel like it always burns me. But, I’m expecting a shoot out here. Toronto has been scoring…3 or more goals in 9 of their last 10 and I don’t see that stopping here against an offensive Pens team that forgets sometimes about their own zone. PIT has also scored 3 or more in 9 out of 10. Any game can go in any direction as the Islanders just proved to us but the trend to bet here is the over.
TOR TT O2.5 -150 *see above*
VGK -1 ½ -102 *half unit* Fade Antti Niemi and the Vegas flu!
Good luck to all!
