WIN +120 Ok, so The Jets haven’t lost 2-straight for over two months. It hasn’t happened since a 3-game slide back in mid-March. Now, the angle here is that since that 3-game slide way back on March 13th, Winnipeg has bounced back the following game after all six times they’ve fallen—this is a run from March and through our current playoffs. Not only that, but each of those bounce-back wins, all six, were by multiple goals so the puck line is in play here as well. Obviously, nothing is a guarantee, but this is a nice trend that shows this teams resiliency and attitude after a loss. Speaking of performance after a loss, Connor Hellebuyck in that time obviously went 6-0, but more importantly he dominated with a .948 Save% and 1.67 GAA. It gets even better because when his team has lost in these playoffs and had to follow up by going on the road, the soon-to-be Vezina finalist has shown up with a 3-0 record with a .972 Save% and 1.00 GAA. Those are numbers that can’t be ignored and two of those games were against a high-scoring Nashville team that peppered him with 37 and 40 SOG.
WIN/VGK under 5 ½ -105 This doesn’t matter so much, but just mentioning it because it was something I noticed; I’m 8-2-1 when betting over/under on the Knights in these playoffs. It’s a trend on me, but I use the same thinking when I make my picks so maybe it has some validity. We got four goals from both teams in the first period of game 1 and still couldn’t cash the over. That period, as it turns out, seems to be a bit fluky as we haven’t had any of the other five periods break two combined goals. Game two went under the number. T-Mobile Arena is most definitely going to be a crazy atmosphere but I’m counting on Hellybuyck’s recent road performance in these situations and Fleury overall to perform as they have been and hold us to the under.
Didn't think I'd be posting any more this season but got back earlier than expected so why not? Good luck, everybody!

i honestly was thinking its a jets spot. and so does everyone else with the line dropping huge to jets favor. Jets have really played 5/6 better periods than vegas so far this series imo.....
but i sided with vegas. i dont know why really, my brain is telling me jets but gut is telling me vegas.....we go back to the peg 2-2 though

Can’t look into regular season. Jets home record was way deceiving during regular season vs way they play during playoffs. People perceive this will have same trend as Preds/Jets series . Jets seem frustrated facing this scrappy team.Way different vibe coming from this team compared to the 2nd round.

Nice to see you posting, BT. You make a convincing case for the Jets. I am undecided! Your under play makes sense too. Maybe I will take under in 1st period.

Should have stayed away. Same ol' sh*t. Another empty net situation that fcuks me. Really laughable at this point how often I lose during an empty net. Need one, never get it. Don't want it, always happens. Clock-work.
