I think everyone is getting away from what this Forum is all about. We're all supposed to be here trying to help each other beat the Books, not beat up on each other.
Who cares about who's got a more expensive house, couch (although I would love to have a $10 Million couch- Lol), car, etc. Gabriel, you're entitled to your opinion, but I hardly think it's called for to Title a Thread "Detroit Sucks" This is a team that has made the Playoffs for 24 straight years, and is well on their way to a 25th- hardly justified in saying they suck. Granted, they had a bad game tonight, and got stone walled by a mediocre Goalie playing a stellar game (probably one of the best of his career).
I've been watching your Plays and Threads since you came in to the Forum about a month ago, and you seem like a fairly intelligent, straight up guy, that has made some pretty good (albeit somewhat juicy) Plays. hradekbr has been around the Forum for a long time, and is passionate about his Red Wings. I'm the same way with the Wild, and went through the same thing earlier in the week when they got beat by the Oilers, so I know how he feels.
There are a lot of immature Kids- and adults too- that come into the Forum, especially this time of year spouting off Sh!t about things they know nothing about. I may be wrong, but I don't think you are one of them, and that's why I took the time to come in to your Thread and hopefully play peace maker.
I know hradekbr, and I know he is a good guy that definitely knows his hockey (and other sports as well). You, I don't know, but I don't think you're a punk that's going to be here for a couple weeks, then be gone, and that's why I took the time to come say so.
Like I said at the beginning of my Post- the purpose of this Forum is to intelligently discuss NHL games and wagers on them in hope of helping one another gain an edge to beat up the Books, not beat up each other.
Just my opinion and two cents worth. My opinion is also that you can feel however you want about whatever team you want, but feel you should be respectful of what others may think and not generalize by Titling a Thread "Detroit Sucks" (or any team for that matter) . Hopefully you and hradekbr can work it out.
