Kozlov is out for a few weeks with a left knee injury. Chris Clark moves up to the first line to join Ovechkin and Backstrom. Clark plays his best hockey with OV.
Federov will NOT play D tonight. He will center Fleischmann and Fehr. This is Fehr's first game of the season. He will take Kozlov's spot.
Erskine will dress and play on the 3rd defensive line.
Personally, I really like the over 5.5 tonight. I found it for -105 at BetJam. Washington's games have totaled 11, 6 and 6. Pittsburgh has been tight on D so far, but it's hard to keep Washington off the scoreboard. the Caps will not put up the same defensive effort they did against the Canucks with Federov returning to center and Erskine dressing. I can see this game finishing 5-4 or 4-3 for either side.
