besides cashing a 30-1 "to win the Western Conference" futures ticket I am VERY happy for the San Jose Sharks franchise FINALLY getting to the Stanley Cup Finals after 25 years in the league 
that being said it is yet ANOTHER disappointment for St Louis Blues fans and bettors. LAST time they went to the Stanley Cup Finals was 1970 vs the Bruins as a "second six" expansion team in the mid 1960's and are the ONLY team in that group to NOT have WON a Stanley Cup. THIS maybe even MORE painful than their recent 1st and 2nd round failure to get SO close
gotta wonder IF St Louis management might not "kick Fat Hitch upstairs" to a desk job and bring in a more dynamic young coach? he is a "stodgy old geezer" along the model of "Henery Hawk" Sutter of the LA Kings and it showed in some of his moves this series

They were clearly the better team. Happens sometimes that way. At least we didn't choke. We'll see what off season changes are made now....
So not a total loss
