Lost my bigger play and won the smaller one last night.
Philadelphia -1 240/315
Vancouver is one point of ahead of Philladelphia in the standings. Vancouver looked amazing last night beating the red hot Devils in an emotional hyped tilt. Back up Brian Boucher is going up against God himself in Roberto Luongo. Philadelphia is missing 3 starters even with Briere returning to the lineup tomorrow night. Vancouver is very healthy aside from a couple of long standing injuries which have long ago been filled and adjusted to by the team.
All this and Philly comes out at -140 or -145 in different places and Vancouver with GOD in net paying nice plus money against these guys who like they can't tie their shoes lately even though Vegas knows full well the public goes mostly on what it has most recently seen and over reacts to it which is Philadelphia looking like garbage against the Sabres last time out and for the last while in general now and again Vancouver looking very powerful slaying the Dragon in the Swamp last night??
I have my own reasons to side with Philadelphia here but no point going into all that, I am just gonna stand over here with the Casino on this one as I believe I see what the Casino sees in this tilt as this line seems to be begging for money on the Canucks to me. I will sit and watch this one with the men that build those big castles in the desert with everyones money be that right or wrong of me.
Anaheim ml 100/130
Just taking the decent plus money in a game between two teams I for the most part see as fairly evenly matched and the Ducks are desperate as hell plus for some reason it jumped off the board and gave me a smack in the face and in looking at it I liked what I saw enough to play the value for a shot.
BOL BOYS

I have a friend who was in the same hotel as the Flyers last week on Long Island he said the team ate breakfast all left and then like 10 minutes later Ray Emery walks in to eat breakfast

We all knew this shit was a matter of time if that is true. When a guy has a history of acting like a dick seriously how often do we see them turn that charachter around for very long..

I agree Joey and I was stating it like that cause that is how it will be read by the public . Boucher has been the much better goalie lately. The last 3 starts they gave him recently he is 2-1 and the only loss was the 1-0 loss in Atlanta when they could not score a goal for him. He has stopped 58 of the last 61 shots he has faced. The better goalie at the moment will be in the net for Philly tonight IMO bro...

Thanks amigo and ya no doubt but we all knew heading in the guy is a dick and once a dick always a dick...Time to rally around old Boucher who is very well liked on the team and who the rest of the guys will obviously be fighting to keep between the pipes if this all is the case......

I put this in Boobys thread already but just for fun since it is my pick own play as well here it is in mine and I think it is a relevant stat tonight.
Team second period scoring games played then goals scored
San Jose 29 45
Colorado 29 28
Columbus 27 37
Philly 24 34
Chicago 26 34
Average out the scoring and add Philly the 5 games the top two have played and it puts them second, right there just behind San Jose for this stat category. Not huge on this kind of stuff but with Vancouver making the west coast to east flight and then playing and winning that emotional hyped game last night they have to deal with a rested, hungry, desperate team for 20 minutes who happen to play their best hockey off of a few days rest and well you get the idea of my thinking here....Just sayin....
