Don't be suckered into these totals of 5

I've said it all season and it looks like Vegas is being smart putting out 5's as totals.  These are losing propositions in my opinion.  The odds aren't with you.  You bet and play for the tie or you lose straight out as most games are likely going over or at least a 2-2 score. 

When do you actually see games go 1-0, 2-1, 3-1?  It happens but it's rare.  Just buy the 0.5 goals and make it 5.5 if you like the under.  Works like a charm even though you pay juice.  When everyone pushes, you're still collecting.  (i.e. Phoenix-Chicago game)

Another 3-2 game in Florida.  Vegas wins again.

How'd that work out for you in the last LA/Van game?

You are losing because you are putting money up and risking it for a push.  Vegas loves that.

3-2 Detroit.  Upper hand goes to Vegas.  Long run Vegas gets the advantage.

In all seriousness, if you think blind betting totals of 5 is so easy, 5dimes offers alternate totals and you can get a 5 EVERY SINGLE GAME.

Stop saying how easy it is, and go keep track of how easy it is.

What does Vegas have to lose when you put a couple hundred on a 5 total.  Vegas has the advantage of holding your money while the score lands at 2-2.  Even at 3-1 odds are not with you.

Like any other bet, these 5 totals are JUICED one way or another. We all get the 2-2 concept, this is not breaking news to anyone here. Since you seem to think no games end with 4 goals or less, go bet the 4.5 every single game and see where you end up.

Please explain to us again how Vegas wins on a push. Don't think we are smart enough to comprehend this complex issue.

Vegas:

Push = You just put out, lets say, $100 to hope they won't score in 5mins and lose the bet.
Over 5 = You just lost the bet.

You:

Push = You didn't win or lose, that's the best you can do.
