Leaning Fins Saturday at +155ish and Team Canada in the big game, and the winner of that game is almost a lock for the Finals. PP Point props on Canada's PP1 are also probably good plays. Those 3 on same line is lethal.

Jose Theodore of Canada is gone for the tournament, and with a wrist injury which is a very bad injury for a hockey player, there’s no telling the impact that will have on the Vegas Knights going forward in their season. Now makar is sick so Canada might be having to play shorthanded at the defensive position.
I thought Canada vs Sweden was a fantastic hockey game and fairly officiated. I thought the USA Finland game was a piece of crap and found the officiating to be very biased towards the states who are already the much better team. Preparing for the NHL coronation of America in Boston next Thursday.

Bennett coming in next game is a plus but sitting Konecny is a bad move, it should be someone else. Sanheim will play well, if makar can’t go obviously that’s devastating for Canada. Also leaving McDavid with Marner when both guys hate each other is just stupid, Reinhart is not a good fit for McDavid either. Not loving what Cooper is doing at all so far but trust the process I guess.

yeah. that is initially why I thought the players would treat this more like ASG and an offensive showcase. we get 2 or 3 more potential season impacting/ending injuries, and teams/coaches/GM's will treat this game differently going forward. And thanks - fun being back on the winning bus for a change this new year...

Starting to lean Swedes maybe -1 or parlay ML with Over 5.5. Fins Defense is arguably worse than a few NHL teams D-Core at this point. US took a while to exploit, but when they finally did, it was 5-1 in a flash. Still like Canada Sat night. Home crowd, plus if the Bettman wants US to win theory is correct, then having Crosby and Co win this (in Montreal), then US beats Canada in Final in Beantown makes a shit ton of sense.
Also think we see a couple Goalie switches this time around, so waiting on Starter announcements might influence wagering tomorrow. Do ahve to throw a bone to NHL Schedulers for NOT having a game on Valentines Day evening - well played, well played...

I think you get a little more feistiness in the Canadian lineup with Bennett replacing Konecny plus it's nice to have Bennett go again the Tkackuk brothers. Didn't think Konecny had a good game against Sweden.

Bennett needs to be replacing Hague Cirelli or Jarvis, grit and elite defensive responsibility is needed vs the USA and Konecny has more of both than the other three guys. Cirelli is not being sat down only because he’s coopers player, he’s a defensive liability.

Honestly, Konecny on ice against Matty Tkachuk is the matchup I would favor if I was wearing a Leaf. He is just the type of guy to get under the skin of a guy who does the same. Agree with Bear that I'd prolly sit Cirelli. You lose some Offense, but that lineup does not lack scoring depth. Or Jarvis - he's a good 2 way player, but he is just too small and lacks the physicality/chip-on-the-shoulder of a 5'10" 175 lb Winger.
As dreamy a job as this sounds for a Coach (loaded roster with talent everywhere), it is still a difficult one, as the opponent has the same, and one or two stupid line combos could be difference in what is likely a 1 goal game tonight...
