I could be wrong but they are where they are at because of Torts. It is pathetic that players quit. Anyone of us would play the game and get paid what they are paid. How about giving Torts the tools to get the job done.

But the complete lack of effort in a must win game against a team playing out the string makes it obvious the players don't care and/or are sending a message.

It's a problem either way.

I would say the Wings are worse. They bring in the guns and have a chance at home to solidify a position and they are laying an egg. I think the Flyers are young and gave out of gas. No goaltending. Hart left and they were left with crap and did nothing about it. I am old school and I think the problem is the athlete. They are becoming more and more whiny about everything. But it would be a good discussion.

This has been tough to watch after being in the race all season to shit the bed this late but it really seems intentional. Not sure it’s intentional by the players to fire torts I agree he’s the reason we are where we were this season. The players need to get their panties outta their ass cracks and play hockey. But damn 9 goals tonight wtf

That was an abysmal performance tonight and I don't think it's going to change rest of the way.

Arguably the worst goaltending in modern day hockey. Ersson is a joke and Fedatov is likely the worst goalie I’ve ever seen play in the nhl albeit a small sample. 

Everyone will have their own opinion as to the reason for the collapse. Maybe the players will have something better to say at season's end. 

This team waaaaay overachieved with an abysmal lineup and shotty goaltending after Hart was submarined. Tortz squeezed them like a lemon and got everything possible out of them. They almost made the playoffs. They were supposed to be around mid-70s over/under points if I remember.

Tortz has a short shelf life because of his intensity and making players totally accountable. But...he was way closer to coach of the year than a coach worthy of firing IMO.
