For An Old Friend

  A few days ago I lost my best friend of many years who used to sit right beside me on the couch for every single game I watched and cheered on every single wager with me I ever made. He was with me pretty much all day everyday wherever I went as my work schedule allowed for it. I just came back to lay a couple down for him. He is in the picture there with me and he was my entire heart so if your not a dog person it's cool but respect the fact we are all different and sorry to clutter the board up with emotion but just something I had to do.

He always seemed to like watching these two teams play more intently for whatever reason and I love both the plays so..... These two are for you Gunner.

Your story hit me hard for a couple of reasons...My last name is Gunn and my nickname for years has been Gunner. Secondly I have a 10 year old chocolate Lab called Hunter thus the name "Thehuntman" and just the thought of him passing makes me sick to my stomach.

Hang in there bud and try to remember all the good times you had with your best friend.

Sorry to hear about your Friend I have the exact same dog  (same breed) as you. She's 10 years old now and let me tell you Bud i'm not looking forward to that day. From one dog lover to another i'm sorry about your loss.

Its never an easy thing losing a loved one like that,it never seems fair that they give so much love and live so few years.Time will help but for now just remember he'll be with you always!
