 Unit is just whatever his standard bet size is

 

Could be 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000

 

It's better to bet same amount consistently

 Yes as mentioned, it just refers to your bet size.

10 years ago after about 20 years of betting. I decided to seriously carve out a bankroll that I wouldn’t touch. And then bet only 1% of that bankroll per bet. This results in betting the same amount on every bet, regardless of strength. There are no locks in this crazy hobby so for me, it’s a good way to play and not suffer huge hits.

so 1 unit equals 1% of my bankroll

This season I’m plus 8.23 Units…

Won 58 bets

Lost 44 bets, probably 55 after tonight lol

 If you bet $20 on every single bet then 1 unit for you would equal $20
