Even with Chara out....Line is still B's -160...What Gives?

This series is playing out very similarly to the Blues' last series with the Sharks. Game 1 loss, Game 2 win, Game 3 loss, Game 4 win. Road, road, home, home. Sharks were dealing with injuries (Chara out for the Bruins).

Blues went on the road in Game 5 and smacked the Sharks 5-0 then ended the series at home.

Blues can't play any better than they did in G4.  They gave there fans a nice treat and something to celebrate in G4.  Chara won't play and it won't matter.  B's will step up and be much better in G5.  Boston takes this in 6.  G5  is a classic overreaction for Blues backers.

The problem will be the lack of size and experience by the B's D now.  Don't forget that Grzelcyk is also out. I agree they can still win the series, but the margin for error is next to 0 and Rask is going to have to have brick wall games

Blues played better in the 3rd period and OT of game 2 than any of the periods of game 4. And that was in Boston. I'm not too confident the Blues will win but I think the value is there at +135

Seems to me that the Blues close out strong near the end of their series.

Jets series: WWLLWW

Stars Series: WLWLLWW

Sharks Series: LWLWWW

Now that their within 2 games of closing it out can they continue this pattern?

There’s just no way he can play tonight. He may try but the first check he takes is gonna cripple him with pain. I think he plays in game 6 and if need be 7 but he won’t play the full game tonight. I just can’t see him being effective at all till some of the pain from contacting things subsides.

Yeah very doubtful he plays tonight. If there is any chance he plays, I'm sure they will start the new guys to see how they respond to the situation before they even risk putting chara out there.
