I just placed an Ottawa +170 for the series wager. I did my homework and really not much to choose between the two teams. It is mindboggling to me why Boston is such a big favourite? Having home ice is just another bonus.

Hi I'm new to the this forum Bruins have been beat by the Sens 6 straight leading into the last 2 games last season. I am on the B,s for tomorrow's first game great road numbers this year from the B,s BOL everyone.

Definitely leaning bruins tonight and for series.  Bruins are the more talented and more experienced team.  I think this is why odds are Bruins being favored.

Goalie Edge - Bruins
Experience Edge - Bruins
Forwards - Bruins
Defenseman - Ottawa

What I take from the 4 losses this year:

- each game was pretty much a coin flip that the Bruins lost.
- First game Claude was coach.  I throw that game out for capping purposes because it was early in year and this Bruins team is not the same Bruins team.  Different coach, different playing style.
- Each of the next three were one goal games (EN in early march game)
- Bruins lost in shootout in last game
- this series is going to come down to three main things - 1) Can bruins D cleanly quickly and effectively break out of zone to not allow Ottawa to set up neutral zone trap 2) if the Bruins are carrying puck in neutral zone can they effectively get it in the zone with quick passes or can they dump it deep away from defensmen and take away ottawa (Karlson) strength of breaking out quick and getting good breakout leading to easy offensive possessions for ottawa.  If you watched the games they got effectivley better at this each game vs Ottawa this year 3) Can bruins finish - always a Bruins issue in the playoffs

Having seen each other 3 times since March 6th and having the opportunity to make adjustments vs. Ottawa trap I think the Bruins can / have made the adjustments and will win the series.

The way Boston generated shots on goal throughout the season I'm definitely leaning Boston ML tonight. They can really turn it on in a game, I think they will be too much for Ottawa.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaa.

I just got back from Florida last night.

I have an Ottawa future at +2000 to win the East. Wanted to hedge on Bruins series but these odds are crazy. I think the series is at best 50/50 for the Bruins so I don't understand the line. Bruins D likely won't stand up if the B's make mistakes against the trap. If Ottawa wins tonight...then I will hedge a little B's at ++ money.

But...you know who I am rooting for.
