Because now there is an opportunity to get them at the bargain basement price of -150. Anyone that has seen the B's play all season know they can win anywhere, home/road, no matter but getting them at a good price has become increasingly difficult due to their record success. Well, thanks to that blowout win in Boston, doubt has crept into the books and we see a good chance for a nice payout on a superb team.
I'm in like Flynn on the B's -150 tonight.

I don't think it's a good idea to underestimate the oddsmakers here. I think they know exactly what they're doing. If the price on the mighty Bruins in Game 3 seems low to you, you might be underestimating the Panthers, a barely above average team for nearly the entire season that caught fire right at the end as they played in front of a career minor league goalie who stepped in for the ill starter Bobrovsky and promptly led the team to their longest winning streak of the season. Alex Lyon allowed only 9 goals in 6 straight wins, all of which the Panthers needed just to barely get this matchup against Boston. He won the NHL's Third Star of the week after he went 4-0 while he stopped 117 of 122 shots. Lyon has taken this late season opportunity and turned the 2-time Vezina Trophy-winning Sergei Bobrovsky into his backup! The Panthers have something good going late in the season, and now in this series - and the oddsmakers know it.

You eagerly laid -150 on what you perceived was a bargain basement price and now the price is down to -135. When this happens to me, I immediately accept that I missed something and accept my defeat. I accept my defeat before the game even begins.
I'm not an NHL expert, but eight days ago when I first saw a Panthers-Bruins series line, my non-expert self was like "Huhhh???" when I saw the Bruins at only -290. Later that day I was further surprised to learn that the oddsmakers had opened the Bruins at -250! A couple days later, the price had been bet up to -350 (which to me seemed more like it), and then on the day of Game 1 the series price was as high as -430.
I'd been wondering for weeks if the Bruins, in their pursuit of regular season records of dubious importance, were going to become the latest regular season record-setting juggernaut to fall flat in the playoffs. Seeing that series line get pounded more than 150 cents confirmed for me that the Bruins were in trouble. I bet on the Panthers +330. I don't even wanna win that bet! The Bruins were my childhood team. I want to see them win the Cup, not fall flat on their faces in the 1st round and have this season become memorable for being a waste of 65 wins and 135 points.
I have $4,000 on the Panthers to win this series but I'll be rooting for the Bruins tonight. I'm not really a fan anymore, but I don't want to see this fantastic Bruins team go into the history books for a very embarrassing reason.

I just bet the Panthers to win the series in 7 games at +725. The next best price I see is DraftKings with +650. The best price in Vegas is +625 at William Hill and Circa.

Well, forget most of that. Rooting interest for me has solidified in favor of the Panthers after I bet the Panthers +245 and +240 to win the series this morning in addition to that Panthers in 7 prop.

Lol this is an all timer take for sure. Fade the historically good hockey team off of a loss because……floridas back up goalie is good? Bruins are a much better team and they have no problem winning on the road. Stop wasting your money on an inferior team and definitely stop saying fancy things to justify it.

Congratulations to SykesSystem and to all the Bruins bettors tonight. I didn’t lose money on this game (moneyline or puckline) but I will have to pronounce my series tickets dead if things don’t go very differently on Sunday afternoon.

Nice win last night as the B's showed up as expected.
Congrats to all of those who obviously got a much better price than I did. Unfortunately when you put your bets in early and spend the day on a large body of water you take what you can get and stay with it.. Lol.
