First time I watch a Winnipeg Game on TV. EXCITING!

This is how fans should cheer for games.  Loud fucking building!

WPG has a much more blue collar feel like Edmonton. Boy, the fans are really giving it to Miller right now!

First game I've seen. Love the fans. Great environment. Plus got some nice cash on the JETS!

Didn't you know the ACC is also called "The Church"

Everyone is in suits and they play the organ way too much!  And its quiet and boring... need I say more

Don't forget everyone in the stands are also praying to god...mostly for a win or atleast a playoff spot...Doesn't matter...won't help.  Leafs are going to finish in 9th or 10th.

Can the Jekyll and Hyde Jets get it done on the road. That will be the test for them. At home...they feed off that crowd. They have to find a way to bring it up a notch on the road. This upcoming road trip may determine their fate. I think they have 5 of 8 on the road coming up with the likes of the Nucks...Pens and Preds. Gonna be tough.

the real die hard fans can't afford a ticket to a game, pretty sad. it's the same in rexall, losers in the gold seats don't even know who's on the 1st pp unit. been there done that. lmao at those rich "casual" fans that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. 

most of the loser fans in the gold, silver seats, had their boss give them the tickets. iv'e had fun a few times, drunk with these suit and tie guy's before lol. got kicked out for harassin em once.

the "real" fans are in the nose bleed section.

funny.
yep its a buisness, companies buy seasons tickets write em off for employee expenses and re-sell( i think theyre trying to stop this), plus many people make small buisness in scalping tickets. theres also a joke amongst younger people that no-one buys a leaf ticket theyre passed on from this person to that person and if youre lucky enough one day... ( or theres scalpers )

Jets fans have always been one of my favorite to talk to.  The thing I like about them the most is that they are hockey fans first and Jets fans second.

Oiler fans are pretty much the same also.

NEVER judge Leaf fans based on the ACC crowd. Leafs Nation consists of MILLIONS (literally) of die hards that usually only get to go to 1 or 2 games every couple of years.

I can't stand watching the first few minutes of every period when the rich slobs stuff their faces and run up their drink tabs in the "Platinum Lounge" while their $400 seats sit there empty for a good 5 minutes of play after each intermission. I've sat in platinum seats, and jumped up and cheered for a goal, only to realize I was the only one who got out of my seat...everyone else stayed seated and clapped as if they were enjoying the spectacle.

I'll take $100 nose bleeds any day over the platinums, where the true fans are, hugging, yelling, cheering, spilling beer, and enjoying the team they love.

sorry to rant, but those from outside of Toronto never seem to understand that the ACC crowd you see on TV is a very inaccurate and unfair representation of Leafs Nation.

ps. Love the enthusiasm at the MTS centre, but the Jets will not last, nor will they make the playoffs. Somebody forgot to let the team know that there are, in fact 41 games on the road every season

on a side note: Rangers ML -115 tonight, GREAT value,
also leaning on Red Wings ML +130 though their goaltending and road play makes me nervous... thoughts?

Leafs fans were louder at the Bell Centre on Saturday than any game at the ACC!

Even Raptor games seem louder.

kind of like MSG, customer of mine gave me tickets 12 rows behind the bench i was sitting down by james dolan and all the celebs, great view comfy seats waiter service but no where close to being as fun & rowdy as sitting upstairs

Quebec will get another team before Montreal gets a second
Toronto will get a second team before Hamilton ever gets a team

besides that,

Seattle, Kansas City, Las Vegas(?), Saskatoon () are the options.

Why not Hartford or another Atlantic team? Hockey seems to flourish there

Well one did go back to Canada under Bettmans watch.  Maybe another will follow in a few more years.  Canada sure could use another.

But you always got the Toronto blocking strategy to contend with, if they choose to do that.
