I Hate Saturday - Special Edition Puck Talk

Missed out on all hockey last night.  Worked late and family needed break from the new puppy, so I had no time to get any plays in.  Just watched highlights of Preds/Caps, and Preds have looked good lately.  Might be a "play on" team next few.  Jets continue to be hot at home, and the Flames took care of business against the listless Isles.  Rested (2+) Faves off a Loss is one of my favorite situations, and add in a tired Road team, and the Reg and Puck Lines also become options.

Onto the early games: Big rivalry matchup with Rags going into East Rutherford.  Rags won 3/4 last season, and they split their first two this season.  Rags looked good last 2 games, and Devils have been very inconsistent.  I think teams are figuring out how to neutralize their speed.  Canes go to Columbus, and they are heavy Faves.  Line too steep for me, but might consider Regulation in a parlay with a late game.  CLB is 1-9 last 10, and 7 of those were by 2 or more, so PL has value at -105 to -110 range.

Laffs heavy Faves against Detroit team.  at current odds, Detroit seems like a decent value.  Laffs 1-3 last 4 and maybe have a case of the "dog days" as Doc mentioned earlier in the week.  Wild at Swords looks to be one of the best tilts of the night.  Both teams playing well and scoring lots.  Gotta think the Over is on a lot of people's Lean List. 

Kraken go into Ottowa on a 3 game win streak.  They dominated Isles, Oil and Loafs, however Ottowa has won 4 of last 5 and are playing well themselves.  Kraken do boast an 11-4-1 Road record.  Under is also intriguing in that one.  The St. Louis Rollercoasters go into Montreal to see if they can keep their recent success going.  MTL looks completely lost (or they're tanking hard), so hard to put hard earned money on them, but they did win both games against the Blue Notes last year (Revenge situation?).

Still looking at the late games, but let's get the discussion going...  What do YOU want to talk about?

Cant say no to plus money on Rangers.  Rags ML +105 please.

My old D partner in beer league is huge Isles fan.  He can't figure it out, but thinks that they might need to just blow the whole thing up, and rebuild.  This team is just not a Stanley Cup caliber team.  I think he i son to something...

Good luck on NFL - I tread lightly this week.  Actually a good week to focus on FF DFS and get a few lineups out there.  Lots of unknowns playing and you can find crazy values.

Hopefully those errands prevented you from placing that Canes PL bet. It is going to be a grind for about 6-8 weeks imo.
