The Dallas Stars are all smoke and mirrors and will be ousted in round one or two of the postseason. They got off to a quick start this season when other top teams found it difficult to get their legs and feet moving. The rest of the league has finally caught up to them now, especially the more solid clubs like the Bruins, Kings, Hawks and Blues. Dallas is simply playing a rather familiar regular season role and will most definitely follow it up with a rather familiar early playoff exit. Mark it down as &#x27;As All Smoke &amp; Mirrors&#x27;!!!

Oh Ya. Star definitely a first round "RAUS" in the playoffs IF they don&#x27;t continue to screw up and MISS. WORST D &amp; G in the NHL (outside of Canadian teams)

Same song in Dallas no goalie and suspect defense. Plus their forwards while awesome offensively, they have zero defensive minds. They have no chance in the playoffs.

depends where they end up seeding if theyre 1-2 seed in the west which is unlikely they're going to play the sharks or wild/avs neither of those teams will be even remotely difficult for this lineup

if they seed lower 4-5th and play the ducks, kings, or Bhawks they're goona lose 4-1 at best likely 4-0

Thats the thing, they actually have two great goalies... both are just very inconsistent. I agree with the rest though.

Who would have thought the stars would do worse in the second half of the season than the first half? Did you also call the Ducks having a better second half? Nice write up captain obvious.

The stars are going to absolutely go further than all of you think. Spezza wasn&#x27;t even playing in the bruins game last night. I think y&#x27;all underestimate how much teams can adjust in a seven game serious. To write a team off before the playoffs even begin is dumb.
