What book are you using Oscar?
Oscar I am assuming your parlaying the 0 or pk line, my parlay is for both the Hounds and 67s to win in regulation. It's definitely not -200 I would never lay those kinds of odds. My Max is -130

Ugh..going to be a nail biter, who would have thought Ottawa would give up a 5 sport to the crappy Fronts in the 1st period. Gonna need a big third from the Hounds and 67s. And Barrie is struggling as well.

Updated season record: 8-5-1, +2.61 units
Hope to get back in the win column after a brutal Sunday. One play for tonight:
Soo Greyhounds +0.5 (-109)
My Greyhounds come into this contest against the Saginaw Spirit having dropped 4 of their last 5 games, including their most recent loss the the North Bay Batallion, in what was an upset. The reason for that loss was a terrible penalty kill and terrible goaltending from Christian Propp. Tonight, it is likely Ethan Taylor gets the start between the pipes, who in my opinion, is the better goaltender for the Hounds. I know the are not happy with the most recent road trip and they will be fired up for this rivalry game against the Spirit on home ice. Both teams are talented up front and can put the puck in the back of the net, but I do believe with Taylor in net, the hounds have the goaltending advantage. This should be a close game, with potential for overtime and I am going to ride my home dawgs +0.5 a goal here.

1-0 tonight, +1 units
Good comeback by the Hounds as they were down 3-1 in the third before tying it up. Taylor was NOT in net, it was Propp but he made some huge saves down the stretch. Lennox for the Spirit was even better the Hounds controlled many stretches of this game and could have won in regulation. Sadly, hounds lost in OT but that's ok as the 0.5 hits.
Should have more plays tomorrow

Lets keep the winning going. One play today:
ML Parlay: Peterborough Petes + Barrie Colts (-100)
Probably last time I will play a parlay if this doesn't hit. Pretty straightforward here. As far at the Petes, they are coming off a loss to the Firebirds, however this is their home opener after renovations to the Memorial Gardens were completed. Game is sold out, so it's going to be loud and I expect to see maximum effort from the Petes here. As far as the Colts, this is a fade of the Sting, they are a bad team and I expect a big effort from Barrie tonight after coming off a tough loss to Hamilton on the weekend.

Well after last night's shit show, done with parlays. Starting to tread water here, hope I can turn it around again tonight. Here is what I like so far:
Hamilton Bulldogs -0.5 (-105)
The reason for this pick is simple: Arthur Kaliyev. This kid is absolutely tearing up the league. He's already got 21 points in eleven games, good enough to lead the league in scoring. This kid has a bright future in the NHL, he really is a man amongst boys out there. To add to this, the Bulldogs are trending in an upward direction, they are playing great hockey as of late, winning 3 of their last 4 games. They hung in there with the Pete's last night, who on paper is the better team, and could have easily come away with a win. Tonight they face the Frontenacs, whom I still consider the worst team in the league. In their last game, they jumped out to a 5-1 lead against the 67's, yet still lost 8-7. Their defence has a hard time keeping pucks out of the net, averaging 4.8 goals against per game. Kaliev and the Bulldogs should run rampant against this defence.
Sudbury Wolves/Barrie Colts OVER 8 (+103)
At first, I was going to take the Wolves, but the more I thought about it, the more I prefer the over. The concern for the Wolves so far in the early goings is their goaltending and defence. They are allowing an average of 4.2 goals per game. On the flip side, their offense keeps rolling, being led by lead goal scorer Byfield with 12 goals so far. Barrie comes off an upset loss to the Sting last night, however after watching the replay, it was Benjamin Gaudrau who stole the show. Barrie peppered 50 shots against him last night, and if they even come somewhere close to this number tonight, I believe they will score enough to put this one over.
Kitchener Rangers -0.5 (-108)
I like Flint, I really do, but this is a bad spot for them. This is a back to back for them against one of the top teams in the league in the Rangers. So far, the Rangers are undefeated at home with a perfect 5-0-0-0 record. The Kitchener Auditorium is going to be a tough place to play. I think the Rangers will be too much for the Firebirds tonight.
Also want to point out that there is currently no line on the Oshawa/Sarnia game. Very weird its missing. It's a great spot for Oshawa and a bad one for Sarnia. Would have considered Oshawa in that one.

Adding one more to the equation:
Erie Otters -0 (-119)
Erie has been trending up lately, winners of 3 of their last 4, including a 4-1 win against the Storm, who they are facing tonight. Guelph is quickly becoming the team everyone expected they would be following their OHL Championship and memorial cup run last year. This team is clearly on the rebuild and it shows. Guelp's big problem is scoring goals, they are at the bottom of the league with only 18 goals scored, for an average of just over 2.5 goals per game. Not good enough. The future in Erie looks bright, with Golod, Drysdale and Yetman leading the scoring. The three have combined for 43 points thus far after 10 games. The only concern I have here is the fact Erie is on a back to back situation, but I am not laying anything and getting a relatively short price at -119 for it. Too good to pass up.
That will be it for tonight.

Resurrecting this thread, going to try again from where I left off:
Record: 10-9-1, +0.39 units
Haven't looked OHL lines for a while, took a break and focused more on football and some NHL, but I took a glance today and I am shocked by what I see here. I have to try it again:
North Bay Battalion +3.5 (-114)
North Bay Battalion ML (+885) 0.2 units
The London knights ML is a whopping -1795. This is simply insane. The battalion have struggled but there is no way they should be that big of a dog. The Knights are good but not THAT GOOD to be laying that kind of wood. I am taking a shot at the North Bay ML as well here, if an upset happens, which I believe it can, this will be a great payday.
Soo Greyhounds +0.5 (-105)
My Greyhounds have struggled as of late, currently on a 5 game losing streak. Their defence has been horrendous as of late, giving up a total of 31 goals during that 5 game losing stretch, however I feel its only a matter of time they straighten things out. Coming off an embarassing 10-2 whipping at the hands of the Windsor Spitfires on home ice last weekend, I am counting on coach Dean and staff to get the kids back into shape here. The +0.5 will cover me if this goes into OT.
Tread carefully if you decide to tail.
