Is Binnington the greatest goalie in the world??

It actually reminds me of when the Kings long dicked Rookie Jon Gibson and the ducks in game 7 IN Anaheim on their way to their 2nd Stanley Cup. 

It seems like so many people on here are on the blues because of this guy and their AMAZING season. Lol the blues beat up on the crippled sharks and suddenly they will take it to the Bruins? You're telling me marchand, pasternak, bergy arent going to light this kid up? I get the long rest might cause a slow start but do you think they will be slow for the whole series???? NO..maybe the 1st period.. 

Something a lot of people might not know is Binnington actually played last season with the PROVIDENCE BRUINS. Boston's AHL team. Take that for what you will but Boston has been able to figure out each goalie they have played thus far and I don't see them having any trouble figuring out this kid Binnington.

that's just my 2 cents I'm not on the blues hype

Everyone knows about Binnington's road to the NHL.  Binnington and the Blues beat the Jets and Stars.  That alone should tell you what they`re capable of.  The Bruins speared and sucker punched their way to the final with the league`s blessing.

It doesn't make much sense to bet on the Blues just because of Binnington when you have Rask on the other end. He's a big part of their success but not the sole reason. 

I don't think he'll get "lit up" even if the Bruins win the series. Bruins played Binnington once in the regular season and lost 2-1 in a shootout. I figure this to be a low scoring series with both goalies playing well and the other 10 players on the ice being the difference in who wins the series. 

Also... are you a Bruins fan? You seem biased.

If you have paid any attention to my picks over the decade, you would know I wager against the B's as much as I wager on them. 

 I'm a B's fan but I am a fan of winning wagers more

Kings fan but placed a decent wager on Bruins to win the cup at the beginning of the season so maybe a little biased.. 

But ive watched about every playoff hockey game this season and Boston has WAY more overall talent. I dont care who they have played so far. Its not even close..

I had to vent a little yesterday after reading a few posts saying Blues in 5 or 6 and how they were gonna go in to Boston and take the first 2 games.

just remember not to bet with the heart. I know you liked the blues from the get, but you left out one possible stanley cup matchup...

Anyways I'm not buying all the blues hype. I think the situation and having to start it off in Boston will be too overwhelming for them. Wouldn't surprise me if the rookie gets pulled at some point. The talent on Boston is just too much, I say Boston in 5.. this is just my prediction.

But hey if I'm completely wrong I got Boston to win it all 200 to win 2200. So if blues pull off game 1 somehow.. I would be stupid not to hedge it down the middle and take the 1000 and enjoy the series stress free.

I think it'll be a good series. I have a small wager to win 6 units on the Blues and another small one to win 2 units on the Bruins, both from before the playoffs started. I'll probably end up putting a little more on the Bruins to even it out a bit.
