Is Winnepeg the new Cup favorites?

With a commanding 3 - 2 lead and a chance to clinch at home where they are unbeatable the Jets look to be cruise control to the Finals. No other team can match their speed, offensive firepower and their back end is nothing to sneeze at either with Bufgylien and Hellerbreck. Would anyone wager right now that Jets are now the Cup favorites?

I like TB and SJ if they can beat VGK.  Pitt has a solid group of forwards but Murray hasn't been good enough this playoffs.  It would be funny to see sharks and jets go at it after that video they put out ripping Winnipeg.  I feel like jones can steal a series for SJ.  Although I feel TB would be the best competition for WPG.

I feel like the only team that can really give the Jets trouble right now are the Bolts.  They’ve been firing on all cylinders as well.  If a Jets-Lightning series happens, it would be a fantastic one, but I’d take Tampa in 6.

Doubledown I think you suffer from recency bias. You really "jump the gun" whenever something happens. E.g. team is down 2-0, you're calling for them to pull the goalie, or not start the goalie next game because of it. There's a lot more momentum swinging than you think. 

Preds will probably win the next game, then it's anyone's game for the series and the Jets odds will be way down to win the cup.

That being said, right now the Lightning are cup favorites at +250 and the Jets are next at +350, following by the Knights at +425, but all that can change fast depending on the outcomes of the next games.

Jets will win this series. Not sure about the cup though.

He makes these threads on purpose to spread his bad mojo, I'm convinced of it. He is the ultimate mush here. Everytime he says crap like this it is usually a huge overreaction to 1 game like you stated. I'm convinced he's betting the other way when making these threads because it's the same routine over and over. I'm not being superstitious, some guys are just like that it's almost a talent really. I literally cringe when I see him make these types of threads and I'm not saying this stuff to be mean it's just the damn truth.

Nashville won game 4 in Winnipeg. Now they go there facing elimination and need to win there again. I don't see them beating jets on jets home ice 2 in a row.
