Thank you for the gift of the better team at +$ all series
NJY had 2 regulation wins in 7 chances against the mighty Florida Pussies (& indeed, needed 2 coin flip OT results go their way to even get past those pussies).
That impresses you so much that the team responsible should be favoured over a team that steamrolled last years finalists (who happened to also be this season's President Trophy winners), and also steamrolled the best defense from this season (who also happened to achieve the 2nd= most comp points)?
I can see someone arguing how much of a Fav LA should be, but having a problem with the fact they're the Fav(/at minus odds), I just don't get it.
This team without Jeff Carter on its roster averaged 2/.00 goals/game (doesn't incl. OT goals). With Jeff Carter on the roster, they've averaged 2.904 goals/game (again, doesn't incl. OT goals). They always had the defense, but noe they got the offense too. This isn't the same team NJY beat twice early in the reg. season. This team has caught lightening in a bottle, and their coach paid his dues in the 0-3-04 SCFs. The saying goes you have to lose one to win one - Sutter has done that. What's the NJY coach done?
